Scenes from metropolitan life: A novel Hardcover – 1982

Not one of Cooper's best, certainly by far the weakest in the trilogy (excluding 'Later Life'). The seams between his personal and professional lives show, unlike the subtle writing in 'Provincial Life' and 'Married Life'.
