Thought I go a regular switch so I won't be hooking this up as it seems to only be on when holding the button down. I don't think they made that clear online before my order.Stats: Seems like a good product, button takes a little bit of weight to press and won't be pressed by accident.Installed it will be 2 1/2 inches long but 7/8 of that is the button on the outside so about a inch and a half under the surface.Also appears it can be used in up to 3/8 inch thick material.Rubber seems solid for hand use but would probably wear down if pressed with a shoe.Seems to be a good but if you just need a button to start a motor or turn something on for a few seconds.Just not what I needed because it turns off the second you let go of it

Key wouldn’t start mower. Purchased key starter but it still wouldn’t engage the solenoid. For a while I started the mower by jumping the solenoid with a screwdriver. Bought this starter button and mounted it next to the steering wheel. Now I just turn the key on and push the button. Works perfectly.

Was well made for the price. Unfortunately it ended up looking bulky and out of place for my application...Had to order something else

Works well for an alternative to a failing key switch start

It took a month to get it. That's okay. But it worth the wait. Feels like a well built switch.

I used this as a kill switch on my 1973 20 hp Mercury outboard and it looks factory on the outside and works well. It is hard to get parts for these older motors or the parts are really expensive. Good fix for the price.

Did not receive the waterproof rubber cap as shown.
