This product works. Period.
This product cleans the coffee pot with ease. I've read people say the coffee pot needs to be 'seasoned'. I disagree. Perhaps cast iron frying pans need to be 'seasoned' (and what does that actually mean?), but a heavily coated percolator only perks harsh, bitter coffee. Harsher and more bitter as the months go by. There is ZERO magic to old baked on coffee residue for a freshly brewed pot. Period.Used to be able to buy a small box of 'Dip It' on the coffee aisle at the grocery store. No longer. This is that. Bigger box, but economical. Amen. Happy brewing.....

Works Great/ Hard to Find
We're among the dinosaurs who still perk coffee. A hundred years when we were young, this product could be found in grocery stores. With the advent of Mr. Coffee-like contraptions conquering the world followed by the French Press Invasion, it became available only for drip coffee makers. It was akin to a miracle to find it at Amazon. It still makes the insides of the percolators absolutely clean and shiny like new, and can be used on thermoses as well. I love this product.

Dip it has returned
Dip it is back and stronger than ever. Make sure that the water is boiling before you pour it into your mug with Dip it and all the coffee stains disappear.

Works Better than the original...and that was fantastic!
Began by asking the seller for a full list of active ingredients, which they replied to immediately; good sign. Still had some trepidations, in part because they are not the same as the original I had used. As soon as I tried it on my stainless steel coffee pot I was thrilled. This product works faster and better with less material than the original. This is well worth buying. I will buy it again. I can totally recommend it!

packaging kinda sucks, but the product seems fine.
the "opening spout" designed into the box just sucks (the old commercial Dip-It product had a little stamped-metal fold-out spout that worked far better), but the Dip-It product itself works as advertised. If there is anything to be of concern with it (in addition to the product's warnings), it is that one should take some extra care, effort, and time to assure that the cleaned surfaces are THOROUGHLY rinsed and WIPED off/out before putting the coffee/tea pots/kettles/machines back into use as there can be a bit of a residual taste-effect if this is not done sufficiently well.

Storage
I bought this last year, because I couldn't find the Dip-It in the small blue box that was always available. I used it once, two electric coffee pots and the product cleaned them as it was supposed to. I stored the box still in it's wrapped plastic covering that it came in, in a cupboard away from dampness. I now was going to clean said pots again and the product is as hard as a rock, my husband couldn't even break it up using a hammer. Product was good, but storage was useless and nowhere on the box does it state how to store the product. The amount of product for a family was to big and now the product is useless. Very disappointed.

The REAL Dip It is Back!
When I ran out of my little green box of Dip It and couldn't find it any more, I tried more brands than I can count, and none did the job Dip It did. And then I saw this product and figured I'd try one more time before giving up. BINGO! This is the real deal! Fill your metal percolator or carafe with very hot water, stir in some Dip It powder, let sit for 20 minutes, swoosh with a bottle brush, rinse, and ... sparkling clean again! This is the only product that cleans coffee stains and residue completely and easily!

The Best stainless steel coffee pot cleaner I have ever used
The Original Dip it was an excellent product. However this version far surpasses the original. The only coffee I make is perked coffee in a stainless steel coffee maker. While the original dip it did an excellent job cleaning the inside of the pot it did not get the stains out at the bottom of the stem. this new version leaves the pot completely clean.
