To say that this is the best mascara I’ve ever used is an understatement y’all.I was shocked at the length and volume of my lashes the first time I applied it. It holds up all day, only occasionally leaving some residue under my eyes, but that is easily wiped away.But the real superpower in this little tube is how well it holds up to a good cry.For all the folks out there who are grieving, struggling with depression, or just crying a lot for some reason, you can take solace in the knowledge that this mascara won’t budge, no matter how much you sob. I am grieving for my younger brother who died in August, and crying is just a part of who I am now. One day at work, not long after I purchased my Lash Princess, I was thinking of him and couldn’t stop crying. I was in my own office with the door shut, but I was out of tissues (go figure). So I made a quick dash for the bathroom hoping no one would see me, because I was sure that there was mascara all over my face… but there wasn’t. Like, at all. I checked later to see if I had ordered waterproof by mistake, and I hadn’t. It’s just. That. Good.You can’t beat the price, the effects are stunning, and the product really holds up to anything you can throw at it.I will say that when I apply it, I first blot the wand off with a tissue. Especially when you have a new tube, a lot of product comes off at once and it can get clumpy if you apply too much. Otherwise no complaints. Do yourself a favor and add this to your cart.

I LOVE this mascara! I hate when I apply a mascara and it clumps my lashes together and looks overly heavy, there is no absolutely no issues like that with this mascara. It helps my lashes stand up and fan out without adding the 'heavy' effect. I also have very sensitive eyes and, unless I rub my eyes and forget I put on mascara, I don't have any flakes falling into my eyes throughout the day causing irritation. So, if you like a more natural look for your mascara and are sick of flakes falling into your eyes, this mascara is for you.

I recently removed my lash extensions after having them on for almost a year to take a break from them so of course my natural lashes aren’t like they used to be. I went on the hunt for a new mascara, (the one I was using was L’Oréal lash paradise) and that one was just ok. I came across Essence and I read the reviews which were all pretty good so I decided to try. I have been using it and I can honestly say that it makes a huge difference. It truly makes my lashes look longer and fuller. I do like it but I don’t love it. Reason for that is that it smudges. I almost always have a little bit under my eyes sometime in the day while wearing it. Other than that, it would be perfect. I guess I just need to play around with some hacks to avoid smudging. The mascara is not too bad for $5.

Amazing! I've been searching for decades for the perfect mascara that goes on smooth without clumping, washes off easily, doesn't smear and lengthens my short lashes and this product has it all for a fraction of the cost! The wand has a rubber design so it holds well in the hand. It lasted all day through sweat, work, etc. it washes easily too. Highly recommend!

I’m 55 years old and have tried more mascaras over the years than I can count, but this one has truly become my favorite. I love it so much I have it on Subscribe & Save so I’m never without it!In the photo, you can see the difference — the eye on the left has two coats, the eye on the right has none. What a difference! It instantly brightens my eyes, lifts my lashes, and makes me look more awake.It lasts beautifully all day with very little to no flaking, even on long days. I typically apply two coats for the perfect balance of volume and definition, and it never clumps or feels heavy.Highly recommend if you’re looking for a reliable, everyday mascara that delivers consistently great results.

The best ever. I had been using a L’Oreal mascara for over 15 years. I read somewhere about them so I ordered one to try out.. I can’t say that my eyelashes look like I’m wearing false ones over them, but they certainly are a lot thicker and richer now. I keep a tube in my car for application at red lights when I leave the house too late to finish my make up. One of my friends saw it recently and exclaimed how much she loves it. And she gets free mascara through a family member from some of the best in the business, such as Lancôme, Chanel, and Estée Lauder. ,

Yes it extends the length of your lashes but there’s a tremendous amount of goo it leaves on your lashes making the lashes clump together. I use an old eyelash applicator to help eliminate the goo and unstick the lashes. I will still use this product because with the extra steps of “combing out my lashes” it delivers a good result with more voluminous and longer looking lashes.

After trying almost every mascara out there at all different price points, this mascara is way better than any others for my blonde mature lashes. I don't have as many as I did when I was younger, and they're not as long, but Essence found the magic with its Princess Lashes. I don't like waterproof mascara because it pulls out your lashes when you wash it off. This goes on smooth, is buildable, finds lashes I didn't know were there, and washes off fairly easily. And if I happen to wear it to bed, I can do a little refresh in the morning, and it looks perfect. I hope they never change the formula or stop producing it. It's super-amazing.
