Product seems very good update
I got the machine on time and it was easy to assemble. You just get the handle bar on and that is it. I put oil in it and gas and it started on the first pull. I used it for a couple of hours in heavy weeds and it did great. It is a little hard to push through tall weeds so I started pulling it through the tall weeds and grass and it was easier to manage and did a great job. I have only used it a couple of times but it does seem very good. I have used this machine for a number of times and it continues to do a great job. This is a great product!

Best Purchase Ever!
5 Stars is not enough! This machine was asked to do much more than it should have been able to handle. We had to clear the perimeter of 4 aces that hadn't been touched in years. It took down waist high thick grass, small saplings, pretty much anything that got in it's way. It starts on first pull every time. Changing the string is so easy and fast. It is truly an amazing machine, one of the best purchases I've ever made. Keeping the area clean will be a breeze.

Helpful on small farm
One of the most unusual things I noticed was that it came fully assembled. That's rare nowadays. It has never failed to start right up. I will say that sometimes it makes a gawd-awful noise, like a fan belt squealing, every time I initially engage the trimmer. It also sometimes makes that noise when it's in high grass. So far, it's worked itself past whatever is making that noise, and has done a great job on the fence line, mowing ditches, and cutting high grass. If you use their very thick trimmer line, be aware that it will cut right through plastic, thin fencing, tree bark and other things. I use a thinner line (but still bigger than most trimmer line) that won't damage so many things, but still goes through weeds and grass like a bush hog. I would give it five stars for how well it has performed this last month, but I'm still a little concerned about the squealing noise and whether that indicates a bad clutch or some other issue that might progress into a problem.

best yard equipment i have bought
we have some undeveloped land: 2 acres with lots of brush and rocks. I didn't want to get a brush hog, or anything with metal blades, due to all the rocks. I tried to clear the area around the house with a gas-powered weed trimmer, but that was hopeless. I bought this Tazz after a lot of research, and could not be happier. a fantastic heavy-duty string trimmer, slices through grass and brush, relatively quiet. Very easy to start. I used to dread reloading the string on my old trimmer, but this one is so easy: just thread two lengths of string through the two metal holders and you're done. Handle folds in half for easy storage. two notes: you really need a funnel to fill the oil reservoir, as it is low and to the side, and if you have problems with it tipping forward when you are pushing it, set the height of the handle a little lower. I'm going to mark the best height for me on the adjustment knobs with a little white-out.

Heavy duty!
I call this my beast! With the all steel body it is very durable. Being disabled I cannot hold a weed eater for very long which is why I purchased this. Though it is heavy and durable the wheel size makes it very maneuverable for me. I needed it to clear a big area of tons of large weeds etc. It works very well! While doing this I ran in to very old farm fencing that was laying low to the ground which I could not see. I love the feature where you can let go of the handle that engages the head to turn without the machine shutting off. I had to unwrap this metal from the head. This happened several times while clearing this area. The machine has held up very well and works for what I need it for. One word of caution, I did try to clear the grass growing along the bottom of field fencing, this machine will tear the fence apart. It has a lot of power. If you are needing to clear a heavily weeded area, or clear under a electric fencing, this will work perfectly for you. I would recommend this machine!

Do not buy!!!!!!!wire retainers that hold cutting strips breaks rendering unit useless
The wire retainers that hold the cutting strips breaks after 10hours of use rendering this unit useless...otherwise love the easy start, awesome cutting power and on off switch. Do not buy...

Super impressed by this trimmer!
Trimmer was very easy to setup, within 5 minutes of opening the box it was up and running. Started on the first pull! We bought a house a few months back with several acres of forest which has been overgrown with weeds, small trees, vines, etc. This thing is a godsend, chews them up like a hot knife through butter. It did get tangled on some old wire fencing that had fallen down and wasn't visible, took less than a minute to untangle and get back to work. Overall, I am SUPER impressed with this, especially considering the price. It's got many more hours of heavy use tomorrow, will report back if any problems occur. Update after nearly two years: Still works great, just like the day I bought it! This thing gets used HARD as we have 5+ acres of woodlands. Just trimmed part of my land that sees little use, pics attached. The only maintenance it's required are two oil changes (super simple!) and a fresh air filter. Sure wish everything was this reliable :)

Awesome Trimmer
This trimmer is awesome! I don't have to carry it which helps this 61-year-old woman a lot. The trimmer cuts through brush with ease. The strings gradually wear away but they are so easy to change. No more stopping every 5 minutes to rearrange the string in my battery-powered trimmer. I can trim for an hour with this and have no string issues. It does leave some little thin pieces of grass, but I live in the country, I am not concerned with a little piece of thin grass. I Love This Trimmer.
