Great horn, but with caveats
I bought this to replace the anemic horn on my Harley Ultra Classic after a couple of close calls with drivers who couldn't (or wouldn't) see or hear me. If your bike has a horn hanging from a bracket on the left side of the engine, remove the horn and cover from the bracket, bolt this horn to the bracket, and hang it on the bike in the same position. This horn is chrome, and roughly the same size as the assembly it replaces, so it looks like it belongs on the bike. The only issue is that, contrary to instructions, you can't connect the horn directly to the wires from your horn button. The horn requires much more current than the stock horn, and the button and wires aren't heavy enough for the load. The solution is to purchase the "Universal Plug-n-Play Wiring Harness for Motorcycle Air Horns by Amanet", also available on Amazon. The harness is already wired with a relay. The relay control wires go to the existing horn wires and the power side of the relay is routed to the horn. The harness is arranged so that you don't have to re-route any existing wires, making the assembly truly plug-and-play. You'll need a couple of cable ties to keep the wires away from the engine and some wire tubing if you want to make it pretty. Mind you, the horn itself comes with a relay, so you could buy wires and make up the harness yourself and save thirty bucks. But it was worth it to me to buy the harness already wired up and ready to install. The horn is good and loud. I made the mistake of trying it in the garage, and I really should have opened the door first. My ears were ringing a little afterwards.

Fun FUN
Awesome HORN! I wired it into my horn that was already there, instead of removing the horn. So, I have this one, and my factory horn that blast at the same time. I’d give loudness an 8/10. I’m happy with it but I’m not 100% sure that it will blow this windows out of someone’s car. Easy to install. Looks good. Very small for how loud it is. I’m keeping it.

Exponentially louder than stock
Purchased this horn hoping to upgrade the extremely anemic factory horn on my '07 Kawasaki Nomad. Installation was straightforward and I was able to rig it onto the factory bracket using some bolts and washers I had laying around the garage. Tucked the included relay in under the tank and zip tied it in place, used shrink tubing and quick connect lugs and I'm confident I have a weather resistant installation. One rainy weekend I believe I will create a better fit and look by making a bracket out of a piece of 1" x 3" flat bar which will allow me to tuck it in real nice on the Nomad. Chrome finish could be a little better, especially on the compressor section and I suspect the finish on the plastic parts will not last forever, but for the price it is sufficiently attractive. Factory horn looked better, but looks aren't everything. It is far louder than my old factory horn and the factory horns on the Harleys and Yamahas that I ride with, but I'm not buying WOLO's 139 db claim either. It's loud but not THAT loud. Would have given it 5 stars if the finish was better.

“Is that a semi behind me??”
I’ve installed enough aftermarket stuff on motorcycles that I take a fair amount of time to figure out where I am going to wire things in, which electrical clips to use, wire gauge, etc. So I did buy the installation kit that these guys make. It includes the correct relay and relay socket, and all the wiring you need, so it does make a big difference. I would not want to install this thing without the kit. All that said, this was pretty trivial to install. And the sound and loudness? Frickin wow. It is so loud and startling to other drivers in traffic that I honestly only use it when I really need to, and boy do drivers hear it. I guess I wish the horn body was chrome metal instead of chrome plastic, (and I would gladly pay a little extra to have that metal), but trust me, this is the loud-ass horn you have always wanted for your bike. You will now be louder than all the cars that surround you. I have no doubt that this thing has the potential to save lives. Starting with mine.

It sounds really really good and loud. But was told by the bike workshop that he has installed many of these and it doesn’t lasts. Will monitor.
