Lovely. I love it. Nice and Strong
I was recommended a tea I hadn't heard of.So I tried it!It's really good and strong. Like An Assam. But it's blended with some Kenyan black teas too. It's called "Scottish Breakfast".It packs about:9.5% naturally occurring polyphenols& 25-30mg naturally occurring L-Theanine& 42-50mg naturally occurring caffeine.per 6 ounces.--> For reference .. lol .. I drink 12oz mugs of most other black or green teas or non-tea herbal/flower/fruit/spice tisanes. -->Water too, 12oz at a time!At first I thought: oh great another "breakfast" tea blend. But this one is definitely different. Not like English or Irish "breakfast" blends. And a far cry from Australian or American breakfast blends...It's malty and strong!!! Extremely full-bodied and earthy with a slight bitter edge. I can tell it's caffeine-heavy. 😁 . The aroma is sweet and pleasant. This specifc Scottish blend I tested is not stated as organic. Many of thier products, however, are indeed organic as is the Taylor's Tribute Scottish.I'm impressed with the Taylor's business principles. They're commited to Rainforest Alliance and the Ethical Tea Partnership, Fair Trade, Sustainable Growing, pricing transparency, rewards for quality, supply chain resiliency, etc. They hold Carbon Neutral Certification and are still independently owned by the same family since 1886. (*Not been around longer than Twinings but... not many are).I can see that they fully participated in a 4-pillar Sedex SMETA audit. Which I know first-hand and up-close those audits are comprehensive and rigorously conducted 😥.I drink lots of tea. This won't replace my go-to (lifesavers) of daily pu'erh, hibiscus, rooibos because I add other junk into those like ginger, turmeric, lemon, etc.BUT... I'll definitely be adding it to the rotation with the many others I live/love to drink and I'm looking forward to *soaking it strong* for some cold tea on ice.Good stuff!

My Favorite Tea
This is by far my favorite morning tea. Is it worth the money? My opinion- yes. I love the smoothness and the flavor of this particular tea from Taylor's. It would seem that this is a rather bland review... until you have tried the tea with just a smidge of heavy cream for a touch of creaminess, then you might agree with me or might not...Try it and see. Just leave me some, please.

What is actually in this? I want to know.
This earl grey tea is good, the English are supposed to be experts, so it should be.Here's my concern - 'natural flavorings' in the USA has become a meaningless term,a stand in for flavors whose origin is not known and the process to extract the flavoringsunknown. There's a guy named Bobby on Youtube is really not a fan of natural flavorings, and neither are many others. It's one of the reasons La Croix is not what it should be either. In this day and age, we need ZERO additives. Companies fly straight, graphic design may seemlike it's enough, but it isn't for buyers like ME.
