Taste just like pear drops
Love these sweets, they taste just like old fashioned pear drops. Hard and crunchy so mind the teeth!

There is nothing I want to say more than that this is one of my favorite hard candies ever. The taste is super unique, not being overwhelmingly sweet nor too acidic, being the perfect balance of sweet and sour. The Harlequin motif is a perfect allegory for the taste experience (when not considering the more dark inspirations for the character and rather his appearance and behavior in the Commedia dell’Arte): his jocular nature in servitude and colorful looks translate to the saccharine taste while his wits and sometimes prankster behavior justifies the tangy acidic notes. It both pleases and attacks your tongue in a good way. If you like thinking of media characters and food tie-ins, imagine a candy based that fits Harley Quinn
