Mixed Feelings
i used to get my chin threaded and still get my eyebrows done. This thing pulled all of those course hairs off my chin but i have to agree with a previous poster, i am not sure its pulling them out at the roots. I think it is breaking them off at the skin. I will do an update in a week.As far as using it, be sure to watch the video in the reviews, you must turn the handles once the device is bent to pull out the hairs. For me its not painful because i am used to threading.UPDATE 6/3/16I try to do updates on products after giving them a fair chance. I don't think you can accurately assess right a way. It has been two weeks now that I have been using the product and it does remove hair but her is the caveat...... This IS NOT Threading. I get my eyebrows threading and threading last weeks because the hair is pulled out from the roots, this does not pull the hair out from the roots, consequently I have to use this at least once per week if not more.It is definitely better than using a razor because I don't end up with ingrown hair or hair bumps, so I will keep using it, but it is not threading!

mixed results
I purchased this to use on the fine hairs on my upper lip. If what you are looking for is something to rip the hair out by the roots, this is for you. It certainly does that, but I think it also just broke off many of the hairs. You won't be smiling while you do it like the lady in the picture. It definitely hurts. About two days after using this, I started getting little bumps on my face where each hair was beginning to regrow. I don't know if this is common, but I did talk to another person who said the same thing happened to her. While it did get rid of the hair, I won't use it again. The resulting bumps look as bad or worse than the hair. The picture was taken several days after using the threading spring.

It's a little painful at first but once you get used to it
I'm obsessed with this facial hair remover! For some reason I get those peach fuz hairs on my face that waxing doesn't always seem to pull out and with makeup it gives me a shadow stash look lol. This tool took care of all of the peach fuz pesky hairs! It's a little painful at first but once you get used to it, it really isn't too bothersome. I would recommend this took to anyone looking for a good upper lip hair remover item.

but it's still better than other methods
I only have peach fuzz so I can't speak on it's efficacy for course hair. Removes all the hair, but you'll need to do several swipes over same area, but it's still better than other methods. Brow razor doesn't work though.

Awesome and painful!
This horrible little thing does a great job removing facial hair... But OOOOWWWW! I expected it to hurt, as it should, but I can only handle so much at a time so I do small bits of my face every day. Took a little getting used to when figuring out the best angle/bend to hold this, but it sure does a good job yanking out those fine hairs once you got it down!

Ouch.
I read a helpful review about doing this after the shower - listen to her! I have baby peach fuzz that has always bothered me so I wanted to try this. It was okay on the chin and cheeks, but my lip....no no no! It was fine when coming out of the shower.

Works really well. It takes some getting used to and it is indeed painful, but both tools work well and are worth the buy!
