This Wheel, A Good Find For Me
This wheel was ordered for me to teach my young grand children pottery techniques. I have thrown on the wheel for 50 years. I am very pleased with this wheel. It has an electric foot pedal (which I needed to place a computer mouse pad underneath it to keep it from slipping on the floor) and it centers a lump of clay weighting 3 - 10 pounds with ease. I was very impressed with the packing for shipping of this wheel. It came with solid strong protective packing material. It arrived in perfect condition. I do not plan to make huge pottery pieces like I used to . I can easily combine wheel thrown pieces with coils to continue the height of the art which I create. For me, it is a good find.

2nd return from this company
1st time I received a wheel with casing over the power cord torn exposing the wires, then 2nd time I received a wheel, the motor was falling off of it. I decided to go with a different brand all together after this.

Very accommodating and responsive seller
I am not a professional potter. It’s just a hobby for me and I wanted to have a wheel that was a step up from the smaller, cheaper wheels. This is perfect. The only negative seems to be the basin which doesn’t quite snap together as well as it should. I’ve been in touch with the seller who has responded quickly to my emails. He is very keen to solve my problem. He is sending me a new basin and hopefully it will fit. I would buy from him again.

Best for small and medium projects
Overall the wheel is ok for a beginner and if you plan on only doing small to medium projects. I tried to throw 6lbs and it was not very stable. Also because there are no holes to place a bat I’ve been throwing on the wheel without one and the surface is rather rough, not smooth at all.

company gives pleanty of communication
I purchased a warehouse dicounted unit. It was listed as unused, but undamaged in damaged packaging. It arrived unused, but with a slightly bent leg, which i tweaked back. It was in proper working order. Wish to comment that the company gave a lot of communication through the process, offered to set it up for 220 rather than 110 volt before shipping. have not used it but feel comfortable with the purchase.

It works... for a bit
My mom bought this wheel for me as a gift and it did ok.The Good:* Splash pan is easy to take off and put back on, and I haven't had issues with leaking. Makes for easy cleanup.* Does get pretty fast, and can go very slow.* Reversible directionThe Bad:* Has zero memory. I throw clockwise, and it's programmed to start up going counterclockwise. While it's only a single button press, when using the manual controls (more on that in a minute), you have to power it off to get it to stop (or press the down speed button a million times. I prefer the power button). And if it's off for more than a minute or two, it forgets and starts up in the wrong direction again. Absolutely annihilated a bowl this morning because of this.* The 9" wheel makes it difficult to find bats, and there's no holes for bat pins. I cannot keep my bats centered, which makes throwing even more of a challenge.* The speed definitely slows when coning, especially if your clay is firm, or you're using more than 3lbs.* It's very short, so I had to put it up on wood blocks. Even then, it hurts my back to use.* The foot pedal lasted about 3 throwing sessions (about 12 pots). Now I can't use it, as it runs a medium speed when it should be stopped, so I'm forced to use the manual controls. Because of the height of the wheel and location of the buttons, this is precarious. Stuck my boob in a mug last month.Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this wheel. I'm not the only one complaining about the foot pedal, and that was a main reason I chose this model. The quality is very, very poor for the price. Get one of the cheaper ones until you can afford or find a nicer one.

Great for home hobby
Wheel is a fantastic value for a home potter making smaller pieces. Had an issue with the pedal that was quickly resolved via customer service. Waited a couple months to leave a review but I honestly couldn’t be happier with it.
