Pathfinder Roleplaying Game: Bestiary 5

If you're looking for some modern threats to add into a game you want this book, very well written up to fit into a D&D type game, adapting some modern things to game play. If your character encounters some things in this book you'll be writing up a new character but that's part of the fun of the game, and a reason to buy new dice. I don't play anymore but find the material interesting to read and this doesn't fail to entertain my warped mind.

More Monsters for Pathfinder 1st Edition.

Paizo always impresses me with their Bestiaries. This one has loads of new monsters without resorting to weird combinations of old entries (like happened at the end of edition 3.5 of a certain other RPG). I appreciate that most classes of monster (i.e., all outsiders, get, plant creatures) get something and are not forgotten!

One can never have too many monsters: but some of these are rather useless for everyday gaming. The percentage of usable material keeps dropping I guess with the quest to fill books. But a decent percentage of the creatures were salvageable.

I’ve ordered a ton of new and used books of amazon over the years. I’m slowly trying to fill out my Paizo collection. This book was way more damaged than any of the previous books I’ve ordered. So much so I may have to find another copy to go on my shelf because the spine is so jacked up. I don’t know if it was like that before it shipped or was a result of shipping but man... this was the last first edition bestiary I needed to finish the set. Kind of a disappointment. Content is great though as always. Pathfinder never lets me down.

Can never have too many Bestiary's for your game night! A bunch more monsters and beautiful illustrations.

I'm a role-player who loves the new monsters in this book. Whether you're running traditional fantasy, pulp adventure, or even downright strange; you certainly can't go wrong with this on your shelf.

You can never go wrong having more beasties for your games. This book was pretty typical for a pathfinder bestiary but had some pretty interesting new monsters.

Another great collection of monsters, another great 320 page hardback book. Everyone loves monsters, right? They are all very usable and there's a great selection. Some people may object to the robots though since this is a fantasy rpg. There's only 3 or 4 though and you could always use their stats but change them to be magical rather than technological, or make them more steampunk than lasery high tech.

It's full of monsters, what more do you want.Leave it open on the page of a dreadfull beasty when players visit a few days before the game, just to mess with them.
