SoftTouch 1/2" x 60" Heavy-Duty Self-Stick Felt Furniture Strip Roll - Protect Surfaces from Scratches & Damage, Beige (3 Pack)

I had bought this years ago after we put in hardwoods. We have a huge credenza that is solid wood and very heavy. I did not want it to scratch the floor if we had to move it. I bought it a Lowes. It worked very well as we have moved the credenza many times and no scratches. Plus you can just push it across the hardwoods. We bought a huge recliner years ago and it does not move as well across the floors. Even though it has wooden glider feet, it still scratches the floor. I got really tired of this and flipped the recliner over to see what was scratching our floor, and there were plastic strips on the bottom of the wood gliders. I assume this is so the chair can't flip over if it is relined too much. But it had to be fixed because I was tired of the scratches. I ordered this without hesitation form Amazon. I already knew it was great. It is thick and stays in place no matter what. I did measure the length because one customer said he didn't get the full length. I did get the full length. I applied to the recliner and it did take almost the whole roll. We have had it in place for months now and I have not seen one scratch from the recliner. I bought the extra roll for an antique chest we have. I am going to clean it out and place this felt on the bottom. No more scratches and no more struggling to move furniture. I highly recommend this for heavy furniture.

This felt went on to a wooden guitar stand. I got this color because it matches the stain used on wood. It adhered very well to the polyurethane finish of the wood. This is a nice thick felt that well protect my guitar necks as I pull and put guitars in. Worked perfect for this project. The felt is visible and looks good on the stand. Cuts easy and was easy to install. Great felt if your looking to pad something. It is thicker so if it was used as a slider it might peel off when sliding something heavy.

We recently installed hardwood floors, and were advised to protect them by putting something on the bottoms of our furniture. For items with legs, we used nail-on felt pads, but for bureaus, book cases, night stands, and other furniture with lengths of woods resting directly on the floor, we used these self-adhesive felt strips. They work beautifully, allowing the furniture pieces to slide if needed, but protecting the floor well. The only place they didn't work well was on the bottom of our rocking chairs, where the motion of the rocker tended to dislodge the felt strips eventually. I recommend them.

100 year old house with old wood trim windows, the 1/2" wide felt fits snugly around the edges and blends in with the woodwork to be invisible. Has held up well for one year so far with sun exposure.

In my office, we were looking for a way to protect our conference room chairs from the conference room table. People would shove the chairs against the table and the edge of the table would dig into the leather arm rests making cuts in them. We had to get all of them recovered because of this and so we had to think of a way to prevent this from happening again. Lo and behold this simple felt strip. Our table is brown so this blends right in and is not noticeable unless you really inspect the edge. We understand that this is staying on the table so we were not worried about the adhesive staying on the table or having to remove it, but I think that with some elbow grease these could be removed with no damage to the table. The strips are sticking to the table with no problem and so far these are doing a fantastic job of stopping the chairs from getting cuts in the arm rest. I did attach a picture, you can barely tell its there!

For a $5 item, these are pretty good. But overall, they do not match up in quality with other more expensive brands such as Feltac. The glue is just not as sticky and the felt is just not as premium. Because these come in a roll, sometimes they slowly detach themselves from whatever they're stuck on in their efforts to return to their original shape.If you are looking for a product to protect an expensive hardwood floor, I would go with something more expensive.

I received these and once unrolled I doubted they would adhere successfully mainly due to how tightly the strip is coiled in the package - the strip curves opposite the natural curve of the runner causing the tips to lift on application. So, I first cut my strips then cleaned the runners w alcohol and let dry. I then applied a drop of super glue at each end of the strip, securing all 4 "ends" with a wrap of blue masking tape overnight to ensure good adhesion. I could possibly have eliminated this step had I tried warming the runners a bit w a blowdryer first as the weather/chair was cool the day I did this. Either way, it worked great and overall easy process! The chair gets regular use, I'd say, and to date (1 month later) the strips are absolutely intact. My particular rocking chair is oversized, thick heavy maple and the strip is fairly thick, however the width of the strips and dark coloration make them almost invisible. I think my floors are very well protected with this item. I would def buy again.

I put this product on the bumpers of my Eufy robotic vacuum to prevent black bumping marks and marring of baseboards, furniture, etc. It seems to do the trick! Effective and inexpensive! Why the manufacturers don't just include it is beyond me. Simple solution to an annoying problem with an otherwise great device.

Thick. held up and remains thick over time.boought these and cut them a bit and stuck them under the legs of my chairs. I had some ikea ones before (which flattened to under a millimeter over time and essentially did nothing) and the difference in thickness (before and after) is significant.they really hold up over time. ill update otherwise.stuck on really well too (i didnt use rubbing alchohol like i should have, im lazy)
