The strength of the magnet was marginal. The unit would be easier to use and clean better if the magnet were stronger.

This is a wonderful product, but I find the two little fishes brand works better. Unfortunately they were out of them when I bought this brand, but I went back to 2 Little Fishies brand when they became available.

Using on a glass aquarium that is about 5mm thick, and it performance is fair at best. It works on light, new growth but leaves plenty of green algae behind, no matter how many passes are made. (Rated 4-13mm, I just don’t see it) It has not scratched the glass. Biggest pro is the small size. The value is there, if not a little pricey. It is oversold on its performance

I was hesitant to purchase this at first due to some people reporting it scratched their glass, but I've had no issues. The magnet strength is pretty good, and you can go around corners to get to each side very easily. I had pretty thick algea in certain spots, so it did take a little bit of work to fully clean (it doesn't just magically wipe away, of course). For my 20 gallon tank, it's a great size, and it makes keeping up with routine maintenance so much easier than before I had this.

This is a really nice little magnetic algae scraper. It's small, which could be a plus or a minus depending on your outlook. It takes more time to clean a large area with it, but it also stays out if the way. My favorite thing about it is that it looks better than most of the alternatives. I find the majority of these magnetic scrapers either ugly or cheap looking, and the Kasanmu one looks a little classier on the glass

The magnet is very strong and works well on the fish tank. This size is really small and cute, so I'm not afraid to take up a lot of space. Under direct sunlight for many hours a day. I use it once a week to remove the brown algae that slowly forms on the glass, and it works very well. Even acrylic fish tanks can be used. There are 3 materials that can cope with glass and acrylic. I feel very good to use it for multiple purposes. This is something everyone in all fish tanks should buy.

It's tiny. Does what it's supposed to. Glass on a 55 is a bit thick for it. There are much stronger magnets. For a 10, 20, etc its perfect. I would not recommend for acrylic.

This is what a fish tank should have! If you are like me, you don't want to reach out to scrub the aquarium. The fish tank is too dirty. By the time I started cleaning up, I had been procrastinating for a long time, which was disgusting. This little magnetic brush-it's incredible! I have studied for these years and finally decided to give it a try. How it cleans the inside of the glass and how it moves smoothly shocked me. My tank quickly became clean.
