Oppenheimer USA Disposable Charcoal Grill On-The-Go Ready to Use Easy to Light Kosher Review: Not fancy, but worth it - For a disposable grill, this was great. There are some pitfalls, but it worked well, and there are some workarounds I implemented when using the second grill kit. I would recommend with caveats, and intend to buy again. For those reasons I give this product five stars. First, the grill is small. Four burger patties is the max. If you're looking to do a bunch of burgers and dogs, split them up. I suggest place a paper towel on top of the box and lay out what you want to cook. if you don't have at least a barest minimum one inch boarder, you've got way too much. The grate doesn't lay completely flat. It slopes outwards along the longer sides of the box. This isn't a problem with flat foods, like steaks or burger patties, but hot dogs present a rolling problem. If you skewer two or more together, they become a "flat" food and are more manageable that way. The charcoal pieces don't distribute very evenly, even after giving them a good shake. Before getting started, pry up the aluminum edges to make the grate easy to be lifted off and replaced with a pair of tongs, or similar instrument. Doing this makes it so once the charcoal is heated and ready to cook, you can lift off the grate and more evenly distribute the charcoal, or, separate off an area for indirect heat. Practice lifting and putting the grate back on before lighting things up so you don't end up with any problems once you've "gone live". The kit is multi-layered. Frame (external - this is located in the cardboard box beneath the aluminum pan); Aluminum pan; Frame (internal); Charcoal tray; Grate. I have a large Calphalon roasting pan, and I used this as a "box" to settle everything in to help keep everything in line. (Calphalon Contemporary 16-Inch Stainless Steel Roasting Pan with Rack bought here on desertcart, anything similar in dimensions would work). Everything was set atop a folding TV tray table, to elevate it up off the ground, to a reasonable height. Review: Convenient and Easy to Use - We had low expectations because of the cost, but it did really well. Was easy to light. We cooked hotdogs on it. It is small, so wouldn't go past a couple of hamburger patties or a few pieces of chicken. Great for 2-3 people.

just right and fun too
a small portable grill intended for small simple foods such as hot dogs or a burger or two. not perfect, but entertaining to use lights easily and keeps heat for almost 2 hours. my order came as a 2 pack and seemed a bit expensive for what you get. It is flimsy and the small stand is barely adequate. It's great for one or two people, lightweight and works pretty well if you consider what it is and designed to do.

Best little throwaway grill I ever used.
When tailgating with this small Grill worked excellent. Other tailgaters came up and asked me about it. They thought it was cool and a smart idea where you could just throw the whole thing away when you’re done. Cook my two burgers and my two brats no problem.

Easy Peasy Grill
We don't have a grill, but sometimes we just have to have grilled hot dogs and hamburgers! These little disposable grills are perfect; they are ready to go, you just light a match and wait for the coals to get hot. We poured water over the grill after we were done for safety. The seller did a great job with packaging and as always, Amazon delivered on time.

Listen to the reviews on this one.
I bought this because of a meme on facebook... But holy cow what a concept! I live in an apartment where space is valued like gold. I grill maybe once or twice a year if that but the accessories you need to keep to grill takes up a lot of space. Its also kind of expensive to keep and maintain, and the idea that you have to let the whole grill air out before putting it away is just not a vibe. The charcoals only last an hour and a half so have your stuff ready to go on before you light up. Light your grill before you put your meat on the grill. Don't use this inside unless you want your smoke alarms to go off. And I think this is even the more sanitary option too because a lot of folks don't clean their grills they just burn the meat crust off next time they cook out. Again. not a vibe. Considering that you'll spend around 25 dollars on charcoal, lighterfluid, and a grill scrubber to cookout anyways, 25 gets you two grill sets, This is an outright bargain. I would say the only exception would be for larger grilling needs. Max this is good for up to 4 people to eat. Cheers.

I wouldn’t let an unhoused person use this to make a meal. Flimsy!
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I only ordered this because I couldn’t find my usual go-to disposable grill available on short notice for a trip. I am normally not a fan of these flimsy disposables but they are useful for a quick small meal on the road. That said, I did a comparison of this grill with one made of more earth-friendly materials (lava stone, bamboo etc.) and the Oppenheimer grill made my lamb kebabs taste horrible, due to the charcoal. It had an awful aftertaste. I also think the paper insert saturated with lighter fluid was another culprit that made my food taste bad. I also thought the packaging was cheaply done (cellophane, foil) and to top it all off the grate was so sharp I cut my finger when it was time to dispose of it. I did not like the lack of instructions, no pictures for assembly and the flimsy construction, and the huge flames that pop out of the foil when u light the charcoal. I saw pics of someone using this on a tabletop. Do NOT do that. This is made for sticking it into a sandy beach, or a camping fire ring, away from grass or trees where the fire can’t spread. I wouldn’t give this to my nearest unhoused person to make a meal. It seems unsafe. I am so mad because I wasted $23. Better yet, use a baby-size Weber grill ty

Ok - but you better cook QUICK
This is OK. It is super easy to light - but dont wait around for the embers to cook on. I got 2; first time I made a steak just for myself. I waited for the fire to die down a bit, I like mine medium; it was less than medium - veggies didnt cook. 2nd time - 2 steaks we managed to get one med well but it was cooking on the flame... Didnt add much smokey flavor - also no chemical flavors; nice concept - just didnt last long enough

L’articolo corrisponda alla descrizione. Tuttavia, per ottenere una cottura adeguata, occorre aggiungere il liquido apposito per barbecue. Inoltre, non raggiunge la potenza adeguata per cuocere una bistecca con osso

I bought these as I was unable to find any in our local shops. The silver tray was so flimsy and folded when I tried to lift them after they were cool. You couldn’t shake the coals to spread them, as they are contained in a pouch before you set them on fire. Once lit the coals were all bunched in the middle and it was difficult to shake them to spread them as they were hot. So the food had to be in the middle or it didn’t cook. Once lit, the BBQ gives off a chemical smell and this transfers onto the food. I smelled like chemicals after I had cooked the food and needed to wash my clothes. The £3 ones are so much better than these. I only had to get these due to shortage in the shops, as we had fantastic weather over the weekend. I won’t buy these again, due to the price and the performance of them.
