Makes wearing a Snuffleupagus-style mask much more comfortable
Love this CPAP pillow. It’s engineered so that only your head rests on a truly flat surface, while the strategic dips along the sides leave room for your CPAP mask and hose. Those contours prevent pressure and air leaks when you roll to your side, so you don’t have to constantly readjust. It makes sleeping with a Snuffleupagus-style mask much easier and more comfortable. The pillow also offers good, firm support. All in all, it supports restorative sleep.

Personal Observations From An Experienced User
I have ordered this pillow as a BiPaP full mask user at least 5 times. Overall, it is well made and I find it personally comfortable for my neck and it lets me flop from side to side with minimal disturbance to my mask. There are 2 set designs patterns on the top and bottom of the pillow, one pair is round in shape, the other pattern pair has a lower and upper bump area. You have to pay attention to this when putting on the pillow case. These 2 design areas allow the user to have a little choice on foam height and pillow contour. There is also a small removable pad which allows further height customization. I prefer the higher side of the pillow for my neck. There are 2 pillowcases provided, but I prefer just using one. I have found that I personally need to replace the pillow about once a year as the foam starts to lose its firmness. The other thing I personally don’t appreciate is when the company lists the pillow at the 79 dollars and acts like it is over a 30% discount. With the increasing number of available memory foam CPAP pillows, the reality is if this pillow was really over $120 dollars, I would no longer be purchasing it. At its current cost, it is still on the pricy side.

Not that great
It's a weird pillow that didn't work for me. It had no benefitual effect on my cpap mask position, it actually made things worse. I tried for three nights and started to develop neck pain, so am going back to my old pillow. Picture on the box doesn't reflect actual use. Update: The seller offered me a refund and I took it, that says something about the company and I appreciate it. While the pillow didn't work for me I do think others may find it valuable. Thank you!

The best night EVER
I never do this. But I feel the need to share my experience after one night. I have sleep apnea. I’ve been on CPAP for 3 months and struggling with getting a good seal with my mask. I switch back and forth between pillows and full face trying to figure out which method works best. My biggest issue was once I found the best position for the mask, it lasted only as long as I didn’t move. I saw something about a CPAP pillow and came upon the Lundberg pillow. My first night was a WOW! Typically my usage scores range in the low 60s. But my first night was 90 !!! I slept an extra hour comfortably. No tossing or turning! No fighting with the hose and mask. No neck pain. No headache. Thank you Lundberg for a superior product!

Perfect CPAP Pillow
I know preferences and needs vary from one individual to the next, but for me personally this is the perfect “CPAP pillow”. I use the “small side”. I’ve used it with both full-face and nasal masks. The firmness ensures that the pressure of my head doesn’t cause the rest of the pillow to rise and push against the mask. So even if the mask isn’t exactly positioned above the dips on the sides, I don’t experience leaks due to the pillow. Perfect combination of comfort and function for me and I’ve tried several pillows and I’m very particular about them in general.

Good for going to sleep
I like the shape of this pillow and find the cut-outs handy for going to sleep. Unfortunately, once you go to sleep the cut-outs lose their relevancy and your head just assumes the position it wants. I also find the memory foam to be a bit firm for my taste. Overall, it’s a pretty nice pillow in concept. In execution, however, it has a few shortcomings that perhaps just come with the glory of using a CPAP. If you prefer a very firm pillow this may be a very good choice for you. As a remedy for mask displacement, however, I’m not sure it overcomes the problem of moving while you’re sleeping. In getting to sleep, however, the pillow shape is useful and works as stated. I recommend this pillow since it does help in falling asleep and is probably some help overall. However, I wish a slightly softer version was available.
