Review by Susan - I tried this on a recommendation thinking it wouldn’t actually make any noticeable changes. I was pleasantly surprised that after just three days my bloating completely went away. I’ve tried tons of other types of pre and probiotics. This is the ONLY one that has made me feel better. I only wish they made it in lemon-lime or a fruity flavor. I got vanilla which is tasty but mixing with water and taking on an empty stomach, a fruit flavor would be more enjoyable.

It’s not good tasting alone I don’t think, but I mix in with my greens, collagen and my other nutrients morning drink. The vanilla seems to enhance my drink when all blended together.

I’ve Been using this for just under a month and have seen no difference at all- it may help you go to the bathroom more but that’s it. My gas and bloating has had not change.

By way of background, I have been told I have leaky gut, but it manifests itself as a variety of skin conditions - I don't usually get gas or bloating. But the number of skin conditions is high, and quite annoying. After taking this for a few weeks, I can say that many of these conditions appear to be moderating noticeably, which is great. In my experience, that can be due to a number of factors - the season, changes in diet, or what have you, but keeping those factors in mind, I think that my skin is improving. Time will tell whether that's due to this repair powder or it's just cyclical. I did not have any adverse reaction to the powder, such as gas or bloating. As far as taste - it's vanilla. OK- not awesome - I'm not going out of my way to drink it. I love the fact that it has L-helviticus in it - the other probiotics I can get elsewhere, but I have wanted to try helviticus and this had it. Also good that it has prebiotics as well. Does this work? Maybe. Is it expensive - definitely. I'll need to make a decision about buying more when I finish this off - if I see continued improvement, then maybe I'll take the plunge. At the current price point, it's a tough decision without further evidence of efficacy. But I do like it so far.

Igy Max, or Igy Hyperimmune egg (I know it as i26) has been around a very long time and is fantastic for building a strong immune system (not ramped up or down - but balanced and strong). I first started taking it almost 20 yrs ago when I was always getting head colds that turned into bronchitis and at least one round of the flu every year. i26 came along and I took it daily for a year and found I no longer had head colds or the flu and stopped taking it. I've taken it occasionally over the years to re-balance my immune system and until this year I haven't had more than a mild head cold every now and then. This year I caught a bad head cold and it took over 2 weeks to get better and I ended up needing antibiotics to kick the secondary infections (no it wasn't covid). So I ordered 3 jars of i26 and as I waited for it to arrive I came across this product - which includes i26, which was renamed/branded Igy Max years ago. Plus it has other ingredients that are beneficial, so I ordered it out of curiosity. What I've learned: This product is way, way smaller than the original Immune 26 (i26) and costs way more! It does include some other ingredients, some basic probiotics and vanilla with stevia for sweetness. I love how it tastes! Which i26 tastes like powdered eggs - and that's because that is what it is, so it takes time to get used to that flavor, or you mix it into other stuff - but I found it most effective straight up and mixed with cold water. This Gut Guardian mix is effective and tastes wonderful, just not worth that hyped up price. This is a product that needs to be fully understood how it actually works and that it takes months to generate the results people are looking for. Some people feel more energy fairly quick, mainly due to the reduced bacterial load in the intestines and body. This product did show me that I can add stevia to my Igy Max (i26, hyperimmune egg) powder and it tastes way better, so thank you for that exterience.

First of all, this supplement tastes great. I like to put it in my morning oatmeal. Second of all, I'm not sure I'm getting any benefit from it. My stomach isn't getting any worse, but not are my numerous gut issues getting any real improvement or miracle cure. Lastly, this supplement is EXPENSIVE. But you knew that. If you like egg products, vanilla flavor, and have money to burn it's worth a try, but if you have serious stomach issues and need medicine I would try something else first.
