Nice USB3 512GB memory stick with slide in and out connctor.
This is a USB 3 memory stick that comes with a link to SanDisk to download software of various types for backing up and moving files/pictures etc from phones and computers. I am not interested in these but you may be. I bought this to use as a music repository for my spouses car radio, which requires USB3 not USB2. (Note: USB 3 devices can be determined by the blue liner inside the connector.) This works fine for the purpose. It has a nice push button on the top that you use to extract the connector from the case, and pull back to return it. This is a nice size for portability. USB3 is quite a bit faster than USB2, which may matter for certain devices.

FlashDrive falls into pieces, how to fix, no data loss at all
Hello consumers of this product, I have been using this as an upgrade of my original 256GB Flash Drive for about a month or so, then all of a sudden, it fell into three pieces. I realised some other people have had the same exact issue, and quick note, your data is not lost, if you put the black chip inside the connector and push it in your USB-F, you can get the connections to allign and it will work perfectly fine with absolutely no data loss. I suggest buying a different product from this if you are afraid of the same issue happing to you again, cheers!

Not as fast as advertised (what is?) but dependable.
I have to date never had an issue with a Sandisk USB drive. While the actual transfer speeds are not what is advertised (shocker, I know), these are dependable. Not too small but eminently portable, just the right size. Solid and dependable, get these in the five-pack for the best deal and if you can, wait for the BF deals or Prime day.

Make sure you dont need to reformat it
I purchased this for its large capacity, but not even half of what I wanted to save fit on it, despite being under the storage it claimed. This is when I learned you may need to change the format of a USB depending on the need. Do yourself a favor and figure that out before you spend all the time uploading. Once I cleared it and changed the format, it, of course, stored as much as it claimed.

Decent flash drive, speeds depend on Windows config
It's decent, though physically a little flimsy. I was getting terrible file copy rates at first, copying from my SSD to the flash drive. Terrible as in measured in KB/s, or single-digit MB/s. Nothing close to the 130 MB/s speeds mentioned on the product page. I tested this on two separate Windows 11 computers, making sure I was using USB 3.0 slots. After doing some Googling, I did the following to increase the speed under Windows 11:1. Format the drive using NTFS instead of FAT2. In Properties for the drive, General tab, turn off indexing3. In Properties for the drive, Hardware tab, click on the Sandisk drive, click Properties, then Change Settings, Policies tab. Click Better Performance, and check the Enable Write Caching box. After this, the average speeds are much much higher, sometimes even briefly exceeding 130 MB/s. I'm seeing 30's, up to 80's or higher, and back down again. All in all, I think any slow speeds have more to do with Windows than this product.Hope this helps someone. Do the above steps at your own risk, but they made things better for me.

Huge capacity
Excellent product. I transferred all of my CDs to my laptop and then copied them to one of these flash drives; it holds all of my music with plenty of free space to spare. I use the drive in my car. Copying was fast and accurate. Sound quality is beautiful.
