Great replacement for Homeber aquarium lights.
Update-12/1/24. One of these failed after 5+ years of use. I ordered 1 replacement. The other 2 are still doing fine. Purchased 8/10/19. I bought 3 of these to replace my 3 Homber aquarium light transformer plugs. The ones that came from Homeber were not UL listed and 5 of them have failed. The company kept sending me replacements because of the 2 year warranty but now the Homeber aquarium light is not listed anymore on Amazon. I love these lights so I decided to give these transformer plugs a try to see if it's just faulty plugs or faulty lights taking out the plugs. I have 3 Marineland lights that are still working since 8/6/13 and I never had a problem with them. So I'm hoping this Amamax transformer plugs /Homeber aquarium light combination works for a good long time just like my Marineland lights. I will update this review soon if something fails but much later if it is working well. So for now, no news means good news. I figured a lot of others went through the same issues with the Homeber aquarium lights as I did and I hope this helps people, especially those that are in my situation.

Replacement for home security system
I bought this item to replace a failed AC adapter that powers the cameras on my Nightowl Apollo 45 video surveillance system. This adapter works flawlessly. I tested it with my meter and found that it does in fact deliver 12 volts of output. The adapter appears to be a quality-made product with no visible flaws in craftsmanship. I will continue to use this item and will update this review if (when) it fails.

It works without any problem and really my only complaint is that it doesn't have an inline switch like the original. In any case, the price was reasonable and the unit is UL listed, which adds some piece of mind

Cost effective Switching Power Supply
I like to be creative with Arduino based projects based on either 5 VDC or 12 VDC. Therefore, needed cost effective "Wall Brick" type power supplies. These have solid DC output within voltage output tolerances suitable for the Arduino. Very pleased with purchase.

Works as expected
Bought it as replacement for my european router's power supply. Original one was 12V 0.5A, but it's ok to use higher amperage. Looks like solid product. Works as expected, no issues so far.

NOT AS ADVERTISED!
The photo and description of this is of it having a coax plug on the end of the cable. In fact, it is terminated in bare wires--no plug at all. Nice surprise when I expected to simply use the thing. Seller give me thumbs down on my review for being truthful about the product he sold me. DON'T BUY FROM THIS DISHONEST SELLER!
