This makeup set is really cute. It comes in a cute ladybug shape. When it is closed it is fairly small for all the it has inside. To open it you spread the wings out and the makeup spreads out and opens up so you can see everything. The wings spread open smoothly and easily and close easily. They close well to keep out dust. This set has so much to offer. It has a little bit of almost everything you need. I don't wear a lot of makeup and on a daily basis what I do wear is very subtle. This set provides everything I need, except mascara, for a subtle makeup job. There are also enough eye shadows that I could change things up and wear something more exciting for an evening out. This set comes with two shades of pressed powder. These are in the bottom section with the brushes. The color's of the pressed powders are fairly light colored. There is a small brush in between the two. This brush is pretty useless for using the pressed powder because it would take ages to get enough with it. The bottom section also holds a double ended foam brush for eye shadow. There is also a small fine brush here. The next layer holds three eye shadows and two lip glosses on each side. On the right side the lip gloss is glittery. On the left side you have red and pink. These colors are fairly subtle. They are glosses not lipstick. The top section has one blush and four eye shadows on each side. That makes a total of fourteen eye shadows, two blushes, 4 lip glosses, and 2 pressed powders. These are easy to use. They are pressed, but not so hard that they are impossible to use. The brushes that come with the set are okay, but not great. I usually use my own brushes because I have a set I really like that is not minuscule. I usually use the green eye shadows and the browns and pinks. They are nice colors and go on smoothly and spread evenly. The blush is okay. I don't wear blush too often, but it does help my paleness when I do wear it. I really like the pink lip gloss and when I want a hint of sparkle I add a little of the sparkle over the top. The lip gloss is not sticky like some lip gloss you get in sets like this. Overall this makeup set is great. It is a small compact set and has a little bit of everything. It is great for those of us who don't wear a lot of makeup and want to try some new colors.
