Surprisingly good
I might be more easily impressed than others - my last portable monitor was bought at a discount because it was USB 2.0, and the USB 3.0 version had just come out. It needed displaylink software to actually work properly and had a weird double-headed cable for max power draw. So that tells you how old it was.I actually bought this because of the displaylink thing with my old monitor. I needed a portable monitor for my work computer, but I can't install anything that needs admin privileges.I was impressed with this. the box was nice, it came with all the required cables, and it's RIDICULOUSLY thin. like, I'm using it with my laptop, and it's as thick as the screen on my laptop. The kickstand does double the thickness at the bottom of the screen, but it's still way thinner than my old one even measured there. It worked immediately upon being plugged into both my and my wife's computers over USB-C. no additional connections or drivers needed, which is exactly what I wanted. I'm using it with a Lenovo P50 Thinkpad, and I honestly wouldn't be surprised if it was the exact same panel. it's just as bright as my laptop screen and just as crisp. It has way more ports than you'd ever need, which is a nice surprise in our modern world. The only thing I was a little concerned about was that if you try to crank the brightness all the way up, it restarts itself somewhere about 80%. however, the brightness bar turns red at that point, and it's brighter than my laptop screen at full brightness at 75% anyway. this probably has more to do with my laptop's power output over USB-C than the screen itself. So yeah. good screen, I'm impressed.

Good Monitor, Exceeds Expectations
First, this thing is slim. Slimmer than a Macbook Air. So it meets every criteria for portability. It also is functional with multiple inputs, and most importantly you don't have to plug it into an outlet! It can be powered by your computer. So far I tested it in three configurations: every one was easy to set up, responsive, vibrant colors, and easy to change screen resolution.- 2016ish Macbook and 2013ish Lenovo T420s: using the included USB-A to USB-C cable, and the included HDMI to Mini-HDMI (and my HDMI to display port adapter), both laptops connected well. The USB-A plugged into the laptop, and the USB-C into the monitor in order to provide power from the laptop to the monitor. The display port adapter plugged into the laptop and HDMI end of the cable while the mini HDMI end plugged into the monitor to provide the display input. Very easy on both.- 2019ish HP Elitebook: Plugged in directly using the USB-C to USB-C cable. No separate power cable needed.- Powered hub with multiple USB-A ports, two USB-C inputs, and another monitor already attached via HDMI: instantly recognized when connected to any laptop. No issues.Overall, this is perfect if you work on the go, or if you're working from home during COVID in a non-traditional workspace (dining room table, kitchen table, etc) and need to have the ability to easily put your work equipment away.My only suggestion for future improvement would be to include a integrated cover - right now, you'd have to get a sleeve separately. However, I knew that going into the purchase, so it's not really a knock on the product itself. As advertised, the product meets all my needs and expectations.

Good monitor!
Pros: The picture quality is sharp with good colors. Was easy to change the color settings in the monitor to match my collaborated mac screen and when I actually get the chance to use my actual color collaborator, I'm sure it'll be just as easy as a regular large monitor. The color settings seem to stick even when I unplug the monitor. The pull out stand that's attached to the monitor is non-slip and it works very well! Easily adjustable and doesn't fall over or slide over, even on smooth surfaces. Easily stands up on my couch as well! I'm using the USB - C cord and so only needing one cord with this is very nice!Cons:Any slight movement of the cords causes the connection to fail and I have to re-plug it in. If i was sitting at a desk, that probably wouldn't be as a big as an issue as it is, however I bought this to work on my couch and even to take other places with me when Covid is over. Every time I have to plug it in, I have to bring up the brightness. I wish that setting stuck. It is easy to change the brightness, so that's not a huge deal though.Overall, definitely would recommend if you're looking for an additional, easy to travel with monitor! I'm looking forward to traveling again and using this!

It gets the Job done and performs above expectation
Both my girlfriend and I work from home with our energetic two year old daughter. To make something like this work, we had to work as a team. My daughter have me running all over the apartment, so I work in multiple computers and rely heavily on my laptop to get my work done on the carpet with her. "Daddy sit on the carpet." Everything was going well until she started jumping on my laptop. Which led to the faithful day of my laptop screen cracking beyond repair. I had the choice of either replacing the screen or buying a new monitor. I chose the later. I bought this portable monitor. The price of $150 was under the price that I would have payed to replace my laptop screen. And I must say I'm glad I bought this portable laptop. The picture is clear. It came to my apartment in one day. It's as if life did not stop, and this mobile laptop kept me mobile. It's light enough that I can carry it anywhere. The connection to the laptop was so simple. The monitor even has a built in speaker. From teams meeting, running after my daughter and driving to my office to connecting it to about any computers I can think of this portable monitor is exceeding my expectation. Screen replacement or in need of additional screens, I'd recommend you get this portable monitor.
