Practice Makes Perfect: Italian Conversation (Practice Makes Perfect Series) 1st Edition

Really helpful book to practice "putting things together"; I found that having to write out or translate a sentence from english to italian mimics the process of knowing what you want to say in english but having a hard time constructing the sentence in order to speak it in italian. This book was great at giving me that practice and, as such, it has increased my confidence and my fluency.

I bought this to compliment my audio lessons I do daily. It helps with seeing how words are spelled and teaches good basic structure and conversation. It's definitely worth buying but you'll need to know a little Italian before this will be helpful.

I like this book. It helps me to practice my Italian and hopefully become more proficient in the language. Since going to Italy, I have become so interested in this culture. Maybe its because I am Hispanic and can relate.

I great workbook for reading, writing and learning words and grammar. I go to various sites online for pronunciation help. This method of learning is working pretty well for me.

Very good learning aid. Like the way it methodically adds grammar and vocabularyto help build skills as you move through the book. Found it a little too difficult forvery beginners. But you can always go back through it as you become morecomfortable with Italian.

I was first disappointed with this book but on using it must admit I under valued it. It's a good combination of providing every day situations, some grammar and then some translations and has some exercises too.

The book is not for beginners.

love working on this. So far most of my learning has been via ear. This gives me a good idea how the words are written.

I have most of this series of italian practice books and in general I am very pleased with them and find them very helpful.This book however is full of mistakes to the point that I have lost total confidence in it.I would return it but I have used a highlighter in places.Not a good buy at all.
