Xpelair C4HTSR 4" Simply Silent Contour bathroom extractor fan with humidistat and timer, plus choice of square and round baffles, White, 240V

I installed the Xpelair C4HTSR 4-inch extractor fan in my bathroom, and it has been working perfectly. It’s quiet, even when running on the higher setting, and does a great job of clearing steam and moisture quickly. The humidity sensor is a great feature, as it automatically turns on when needed, which is really convenient. Installation was straightforward, and the adjustable timer makes it easy to customize how long it runs after the room is used. It also looks sleek and modern, blending in well with the bathroom decor. Overall, it’s a reliable and efficient fan that does exactly what it’s supposed to. Highly recommended!

very good, very low noise. to the extent sometimes doesn't feel is on if there's no perfect silence. great product. takes off the steam away from the shower (I have it just close to it) surely recommended

My 3rd purchase of this fan unit. The humidistat type can be very sensitive and sometimes stick on when the humidistat kicks in but overall I'm pleased with the appearance and quality

Great product, easy to install with existing wiring, quiet on slow speed which is default from manufacturer.

Definitely not silent or quiet. The humidity detector worked initially and then kept staying on for hours. One night it turned off and we all cheered only for it to come back on 10 minutes later for the rest of the night!!!

We ordered two of these and 1 timer model. We didn't actually install them until we moved house a yearafter buying the extractor fans. They stay on way too much even after settings are changed. They are using the correct insulated ducting in the loft. One went pop yesterday and no longer works so we have switched off the isolator. I have also contacted dimplex about the one that popped after only being installed for 2.5 months. Let's see what Dimplex say.

This replaced a cheaper 100mm fan which ran off an isolator switch. This new fan is running off of the same switch permanently on, with the fan powering on when the room has high humidity - perfect for our use case where we want it to be able to handle for humidity without our intervention. Has two semicircle flaps to prevent backdraught which work reasonably well, a fixing-less clamp arrangement on each side, and two fascias. Not the easiest mechanism to remove the casing to get to the controls - these could be placed somewhere accessible - but otherwise a good investment so far.

Easy assembly, fit well in my toilet and looks great with my choice in square or circle cover. Very functional and very quiet.
