Long story short guys... THIS WORKS! I Don't Know how, but this little device basically works as an efficient hdmi to USB for your game streaming and Web camera footage.I don't understand why it is so cheap?!I use this to stream from my Sony zv1 into my computer! Its brilliant.

I needed a way of getting HDMI from my camcorder and camera into a laptop to be used as a mobile monitor. Normally that sort pf thing cost about 100 to 150 and I cant justify that expense so took a punt on this. So far only got my camcorder not my Canon DSLR running but think it will be a setting issue so happy to leave feedback. Used VLC, clicked on Playback, Play, capture device, select USB video in video device name and it just works. Will go from mini HDMI if you convert it too. Cable and adapter cost just over £20, over £100 saving. The quality seems low so if you want to use this for top end gaming recording dont. As a cheap monitor work around cant fault it.

Fantastic little device, not only does it turn a phone into an HDMI monitor, it turns a camera into a webcam. Plugged into my laptop and Google meet picked up the little device. Brilliant for the money and really decent quality and colour reproduction!

Doesn’t work at all with my Lunix G7 just a black screen, tested the connection with my Elgago HD60s+ and it works. It also rattles a lot so not sure if mine is broken.

It's been fairly reliable. Because it is large it can block adjacent ports so helpful to use a short extension between this and the computer. Also found the USB connection can be intermittent; that was only with a particular USB-A to -C adaptor. It appears to the computer as a USB webcam. I haven't used the audio component.

I don’t understand how they did this . Seriously. This is a fully functional hdmi usb capture device priced cheaper than a pizza. Most people don’t talk about this . This capture device allows me to output 10bit log footage from my canon eos r ? Even if it’s not 4K which I don’t shoot with anyway the colour depth . Is amazing this is plug and play you plug it in and it just works I use this with my Mac. No drivers installed to record videos simply bring up quick time player open the recording option and drop the menu down to select usb webcam . That’s it it just works 😍😍❤️ Just buy it eat one less pizza but just buy it .

Works perfectly. Plugged in a Sony A7iii and using it as a webcam now. Working with Zoom, Teams and Twitch with no problems.

It does the job, nothing flashy!
