Lil soft and flaky doesn’t feel like real bone

I read theres a shortage of cuttlebones .... I just got birds again and am surprised at these miniscule littlewhite, sharp edged things....Ten years ago, the cuttlebones I bought were huge!.( 7+inches and 3/4 inch thick.) The ones now, are so small, theyre hard to attach to cage and if you drop it on the hardwood floor they shatter. Very thin and small. ?????? The "pseudo cuttlebones" are o.k. but I worry about the ingredients.

My parakeets enjoy this, although it is not as large as I thought it would be. My female parakeet quickly tears these things up, so I wanted a large one. These are more like 5 or 6 inches, not the 8 described. The price is a lot cheaper than the pet stores, but the free shipping only happens with $49 or more orders on amazon.

I had problems with my boy duck nibbling on everything, it was a constant rat-tat-tat-tat that began to seem like a jackhammer on my head. I put this in his cage... i never expected a duck to even be interested. But he chewed this to hell instead of jackhammering his cage and giving me a headache. Worth every penny!

Apparently the supplier mislabels their product. I've purchased from two different sellers and the product was much smaller than advertised. Both sellers immediately made it right. I think that they were mislead too.
