Excellent Product
Was very happy with this product. I used it to diffuse a 25x36 lightbox and hide the light source inside. This did a great job, the light color is a nice clear white 6500k with my lights, while softening the light source so the inside of my box could not be seen nor would it hurt your eyes with the light blinding effect some light boxes have. This created the perfect top for sketching, drawing, weeding vinyl and so forth. I would highly recommend.

Every kit should have a few of these to modify and diffuse lights.
If you do video production you know you always need to cut, diffuse or adjust light, you should have 2 or 3 of these in your kit at all times because they work perfectly, cost next to nothing, and fit anywhere you need them. Super versatile so if you’re thinking about it, just buy it.

very nice, but too translucent for certain uses
Overall, this is a nice product. But I have some advice for anyone considering purchasing it. The fabric is not as opaque as that of normal softbox diffusion. You CAN see straight through the fabric and if you're using an un-diffused light source like a bare bulb or direct sunlight, you'll be able to easily see the source through the fabric. (You can see a good example of the translucency in the product photos.) You'll still be able to see a very slight hard edge on the shadows. So in this case, you'll either need a different product, or you'll have to double or triple-up with this diffusion. So basically, this is great for the following uses: 1) If you're using hard direct sunlight or light from bare bulbs and you want subtly softened light that looks natural and undiffused, yet still soft enough to look pretty. 2) If you're already using softboxes or some sort of diffused light that you want to diffuse even further to create the look of a very large window. #2 is how I use it. I have 2 strobes with 24x24" softboxes pointed at it from a couple feet away and the light is incredibly soft on the subject. Without the softboxes though, it just doesn't have the same effect.

Slightly smaller than advertised
Item itself is perfect but it is slightly smaller than advertised.

They work.
I use this to soften my led lights and they work great. The material is thin and can be doubled. Size is great. Easy to use. Just throw it on there. I’ve only used on cool LEDs so can’t say how the material could work with other setups. You should read the instructions.

GREAT scrim fabric!
This is some of the best diffusion I have! -- folded & hemmed really nicely. Throw it on your lightstand + mini-boom with a few clamps and blast your strobe through--you'll be stoked!

Size not accurate...
We custom build our frames. Because the size isn't accurate we had to rebuild the frames. However...after placing gromets(be sure to use reinforcement patchs) on the edges and using tarp bungies(the kind with a ball) it is forgoing and we can use it on a frame that is bigger than it...this stretches the fabric, removing the wrinkles(always roll not fold). We mount it on grip heads on light stands. It becomes a sail so be sure to weight the leg that's facing the wind. About 15lb sandbags on each stand for every 10mph wind. We use it mostly outdoors for the sun. How ever we have just used it in front of a 2k fresnel for a halo effect...at a distance of 10ft(use caution). Price is about right. We go to wholesale fabric warehouses when we need wider seamless. But in all...good product.

Best price, good value, multiple uses.
I originally was looking to purchase the fabric to modify my t5 55 watt florescent Keno Flow like lights. When I received the fabric, I thought I would be great to create a large panel that could have multiple uses. I can use it as a background, a bounce, and a light modifier. I sewed 3 inch pockets on the top and bottom and got some 3/4 PVC to make a stand. Work great as a 5x5 anything. NOW to the important part. Nylon is prone to folds and creases and will not make a good back drop unless you wash it. The internet told me that commercial sewing of nylon usually is assisted with a chemical that is added to the fabric to stiffen the nylon. The internet was right. The fix, thanks to all those nylon flag flyers, is to wash the fabric. After washing, I was able to steam iron the fabric smooth. (Low Heat Please) Notes; sew first, wash second; it did not shrink. Cheers!

The Silk material is the perfect colour for flash or Daylight. The one I bought has one stoping power whe n used for diffusion. Very good to handle.

Pour moi c'est parfait. Utilisé en double dans mon cas pour bien atténuer le spot. Je trouve que les dimensions du tissus sont suffisantes pour pas mal d'applications.

Ordered 2 and 1 has arrived with a coffee coloured mark in the middle (top-middle) of the sheet!! Decent quality for the price though.

生地自体は悪くないのですが、色温度が変化しすぎです。 かなり青みが強く出ます。(1000k以上変わります ストロボデュフーザーとしては使い物にならないです
