The gold standard in drum cases
Works great, easy to get it in and out.

Strong, good buckle. No padding or lining of any kind.
This is a good case for storage purposes. Well molded and the handle and buckles are stout. There is no padding so you may not want to use this for travel. There are others around the same price you can get with padding without having to do extra work. I did think this had a type of black neoprene type lining as the picture on the listing showed... false. I had some thin upholstery foam and some large microfiber cloths. A couple snips and I wrapped the foam with the microfiber. Made a nice padded case for storing and securing a vintage Premier piccolo snare.

Good case but the rounded versions are much sturdier.
These are good cases but I've had to return two of them due to the sides on the bottom halves bowing in. I've never had this problem with the rounded cases. These square ones are good for storing your drums but I wouldn't stack them too high!

Solid case for transporting my snare drums
I have two of these cases now. One for a 6.5" brass snare, another for a 4" maple piccolo snare. I've added closed-cell phone to the 5" case for the 4" drum. The cases are square so you can add a little bag or two of extras like a drum key or whatever. Because they are square, they are a little easier to stack with other cases than done of the round plastic b snare cases. The sides are slightly bowed in, but that doesn't seem to matter in the fit or sturdiness.
