Apple iPad Mini 2 WiFi 16GB Space Grey (Renewed)

Great iPad at superb price,, the company providing it were great.. only slight issue and this is with apple not the seller or amazon, this iPad 2 does not comply with newer apps but in most cases an older version of app is offered which works fine. , but some apps are not available on this iPad. But works great and great to have on sofa or take on trips. Perfect

I'll have to update this review as the iPad serves its duties but felt obliged to leave some comments upon arrival. Zero complaints regarding delivery and packaging, it was safely wrapped, arrived quickly, and with a charger (genuine or not is negligible.) The iPad itself is in good nick, only a few small scratches on the screen that you'd probably pick up in the first week of use anyway. I think some folk miss what this device is exactly. It is an iPad Mini 2, it was released in 2013 and no longer receives software updates, that doesn't make it unusable. When downloading apps in the store you'll get an option to download the latest up-to-date version your device can run. This works well for apps like social media, streaming services, and general applications (YouTube and the sorts.) Expecting a decade old device to run anything more is quite optimistic, and not what I needed it to do. It is punchy enough to notice the slight delay in apps loading but not enough to warrant any kind of complaint, it was made in 2013. (This is comparable to the iPhone 5s/6 line-up for reference) Regarding the refurbishment, it seems to have been done well. It arrived with 80% battery already and took to charging well. When off charge, it didn't deplete too quickly (and as this won't be intensively use, will suffice.) The screen is responsive and buttons click as you'd expect. Volume is clear and the device clean of any muck. All in all, don't be afraid to take a plunge when buying a refurbished 'vintage' Apple device. I got this from '1 CLICK CRAZY DEALS' who have, thus far, provided an excellent service. However, if you're wanting something snappy and with the latest software updates, you'll want to look at the iPad Mini 5 at a minimum. If you're happy with a device for light usage (streaming, social media, document reading, browsing) then the iPad Mini 2 could be a steal for the right price.

I bought this iPad and found within only a couple of months the screen was failing. On contacting them, they were immediately defensive saying that it must have been damaged (which it wasn’t) and they would not refund; only CONSIDER repair or replacement. It was very clear they were trying to make out customer damage. On returning it, they are now saying it didn’t come from them (which it did) and clearly tracked through Amazon. Also, for the very first time, have been very disappointed by the customer service from Amazon. As a third party, they just seem to be avoiding any focus on Pixel Direct and seem to be content offering a third party with appalling customer service and questionable practices. I would avoid buying from them (Pixel Direct) at all costs - Amazon I will give the benefit of the doubt to and assume that this is just a (very poor) isolated incident. Would have given no stars for every category, had this been an option.

I got this iPad for my Nan and was very worried as I’ve never brought refurbished and she didn’t need a new one. The product came in perfect condition and has been working great ever since, the sellers are lovely and even upgraded us to a 32gb free of charge and we also have the warranty on the product and for these reason I am going to purchase 2 more for my parents. Great buy

I’m sure it would’ve been fine if the home button had operated as required. Thought that might’ve been the first check before sending it back out for reuse. The unit was unmarked and looked the part but didn’t work.

Got this for my mum I have got it linked to the router. But can't get onto a search engine. Got her Facebook account OK. But tried to get an app and tried opening a couple of pages via search. Just won't open. It's not her system as she has super fast fibre .
