I ordered this one for our 6 year old son. The product page says 8+, but it your kids are anything like mine, LEGO-like products are a breeze to build. He only needed help finding a few of the pieces but putting it together was age appropriate and exciting for him. Once we were all set up the remote was a wee bit confusing. Now, as my boy was the one who built it, maybe we've just reversed the build. Because, the remote runs the motors reverse. That is, forward is backwards and visa versa. He doesn't seem to have a problem with it. But, as a STEM educator who uses a variety of robotics products, I think the remote is lacking in how well it controls the robot. But, overall, I'd definitely suggest this product. And, I'd suggest building it with your younger children to be sure my backwards motors aren't just a 6 year old's goof. ;-)

I bought this for my nephew for his Christmas present. So I will have to wait after Christmas to have a photo to the robot after we put them on together.I am very happy with the product. You can tell that they pay attention to details to make their product look great. Every details is very sharp and neat.I haven't tried the remote control or control by phone yet, So no comments on that yet. But from what I have seen, I believe it will be great and my nephew will definitely love it.The item has more than 375 pieces, and the instruction is more than 15 pages. So I guess it will need a little patient for your kid to put them together.It's recommended if you are looking for a toy for your kid.

I bought this construction kit mostly for the remote controlled motor module, since it's better than other Technic style brands. I don't make the robot on the packaging, but make my own Technic creations. But the pieces are durable and work well.The app text is in Mandarin, so I had to use a translator app to translate screenshots into English, but otherwise I'm satisfied with the product.

I got this for my Daughter because she loves building things, crafting things together, and she loves exploring into how things work. I only helped her get it started with the first 2 - 3 pages in the instruction booklet before she understood how the instructions were being conveyed in the book and she was able to continue on her own. She loves it and was super excited about each step she completed seeing it all starting to come together. She told me she wants one of these with every holiday & birthday from now on!

this was a great gift for my son. the instructions were written very well with pics to help. my son is 8 and only needed some help. it is also faster then i thought it would be. glad i purchased this. if your thinking about getting it, get it its worth it.

This is not just the typical “lego” or building block toy since its allows the kid to not just build it but move and use remote control. My kid enjoyed building and playing this toy. What I liked about this toy is that it helps to build kid’s patience and enhances their creativity and imagination especially when building the toy. Although the it doesnt come with batteries, I still recommend this toy. Its safe, strong, and doesn’t break easily.

This was a gift from my sister for Christmas. I am 15 and love building with bricks. This was fairly easy to assemble. My biggest complaint is the arms do not move.

Wonderful lego remote controlled robot. My 8 year old spent his day happily with this product by building and riding it. Recommend for lego enthusiasts and budding robotics lovers.
