Needs Zip-Ties to complete Installation .... good sturdy unit.
The unit is very well built and is extremely dynamic in terms of mounting ability. That is, not only can the unit rotate up/down 180-degrees, it also is able to swivel right/left a full 180-degrees as well. This makes aiming the antenna very nice.NOTE: When installing, be sure to have some Heavy-Duty (ideally black UV resistant) Zip-Ties available to complete the installation. That is, at least for the NanoStation M5 that I have, the bracket slides in nicely on the rear half-circle portion of the antenna where one would typically have a pole that the antenna mounts to. Now, once the bracket is in place, it only prevents Up/Down movement (the top plastic piece prevents it from dropping down. *And this is critical*, to prevent the unit from flopping front/back, one needs to thread one (ideally two) heavy-duty zip-ties through the gap on the rear of the NanoStation around the Wall/Window mounting bracket. These zip-ties are critical to keeping the unit from going back/forth and flopping around.Technically, this is no different from mounting the NanoStation around a steel pole like is the default mounting method. That is, one places the rear of the NanoStation on the pole then secures it in place with zip-ties.Anyway, just pointing that out because for some reason I had an impression that this wall/window mount simply "clicked on" to the NanoStation M5. Obviously, it might not need the zip-ties on the other NanoStation M or NanoStation Loco M models.....I can only speak for the M5.Either way, and outstanding product!

Works Great!
These are made of a heavy plastic, built to be placed outside or inside. I used it to mount a Nanostation loco M2. It is suction mount or it comes with a wall plate to wall mount it with screws (also included). I mounted mine via the suction cup on the inside of one window, pointing out another window to the other Nanostation (probably not ideal but it worked). Quick and easy set up. All you need is a small phillips screwdriver to screw the little top on the holster after mounting the station - no other tools required. You can take the thumb screw out and reverse the holster to mount it to point to the inside. Suction was great on the window, no worries about it falling (it has a lever activated suction cup). I only bought one to see if I liked the mount, and now I am ordering the second one to mount Nano on the other end. Ubiquiti has nice products, I'm impressed with all the products I have purchased from them.

Works Well
I purchased two of these to build an air bridge on my network. After taking a look on YouTube, the videos there made setup fairly straightforward. I wanted to allow my neighbor to access my Plex server more or less as an experiment. The units are about 140 feet apart and the neighbor's end feeds an 802.11N wi-fi router. It works perfect and he is able to stream HD movies to his Roku. The biggest concern was having him forget to switch networks and use mine for Internet access, but my home router has a feature set that allows me to restrict his end from accessing anything beyond my router. It works well. For me, it was worth the money to learn some additional info about networks. My primary skill set is in radio frequency applications, but I'm broadening my knowledge base as I migrate more toward networks on the job.

These are well made units; however, no suction cup ever sticks forever no matter how well made. So I rate it as a 4 since the suction cup is imperfect. I did have a great idea for an inexpensive way to provide a safety line to catch the nanostation when the suction cup fails. Go to almost any fishing supply store and purchase a "leader line with snap connectors" They come in different lengths but 12-14 inches if usually long enough for most installations. The leader line (metal or nylon...just like fishing line) comes with a latching connector on each end already attached. Just loop one end around the top end of the mounting bracket and the other end to the wall (even a decent thumbtack or small brad-type nail is enough to carry the weight of a detached nanostation. When the suction cup inevitably fails, the nanostation won't hit the floor but rather gently drop a few inches until the short leader line catches it. Works perfectly. 'Has saved my nanostation from falling on to a hard floor a couple of times now. The leader line with snap connectors only costs a couple of bucks and is very easy to use and is cheap insurance for your nanostation.

The perfect RV wifi boosting antenna/access point
I used to run a Ubiquity Bullet with an antenna and although decent, it did not have nearly the range of this directional antenna. The strength meter on the back is super helpful and I love being able to grab signals over a 1/4 mile away and use them to work. Setup is a bit involved but there are a number of excellent youtube videos that get you running in no time. Quality is typical Ubiquiti in that it has great fit and operation. I would not hesitate. FYI, I got the 2.5G for it goes through leaves and obstructions better than the 5G.

Works well
Fits and works well. Some reviewers have stated that it doesn't face right if you want to point it out of a window, and have to tie it with zip ties. You just loosen one of the knobs and turn that part of the unit around to have it face the opposite direction. As for the zip ties, this is designed so the wifi unit slides right into the mount, then a cap goes on top so it doesn't come out. No zip ties are needed. Those reviewers did not understand how to use the mount. Another hint, when turning around to point out of a window, the wifi unit will hit on one of the adjusting knobs. Take that knob off and put the screw in from the other side and the knob will be out of the way. This is just something in the assembly line that they are putting in the screw in that direction.
