The pens are great for use with a large group. We had a wine tasting and everyone was able to use the pens for their tasting notes. The ink flows well and does not leak. The point is medium which I really like better than a fine point pen. We have only had them a week but none seem faulty so far. I think they are a great value for what we paid.

Had I reviewed these within the first week, I would have given a 5-star review because, when they work, they write beautifully, smoothly, and don't smudge. HOWEVER, they dry up quickly and some don't work from the start. The tips are dipped in red plastic to prevent the ink from leaking, but it clearly does not prevent the ink from drying up. I'm not sure what conditions cause ink to dry out ( I recently used a pen that was over 10 years old ), but these clearly were stored in those conditions, OR, they contain just enough ink to be considered ink pens. You also need to tighten the bottom of the pen before use, or it will come apart when least expected.Ultimately, if you tend to go through pens rapidly, these might be a good choice. They are cheap and write well for a brief time. If they get lost or stolen, you're out 22₵ and you grab another.
