Deep Hole Construction Pencil with Site Holster (120mm, Extendable 2B Carpenter Pencil with Inbuilt Sharpener)

If you're anything like me, you can never find your pencil. I'm a serial DIYer, but spend most of my time pencil hunting. I swear I put it behind my ear... That was until I got my Tracer pencil. Gone are the days of vanishing pencils. It now sits proudly in one of the screwdriver loops of my work trousers. Simple to grab whenever I need it, and easy to remember to return it to it's holster. Apart from now knowing exactly where it is at all times, this is also a great pencil. It doesn't blunt too quickly, and is easy to quickly sharpen with the built in sharpener on the holster. It's not the cheapest, but I'd say you definitely get what you pay for. It's a well thought out design, and good quality. Just a word of warning, if you're using it to mark a deep hole, you need to be extra careful. The lead will be fully extracted, and although it's probably stronger than the average pencil lead, it is still brittle, and will snap with any lateral pressure. Overall, though, this is one of my favourite additions to my toolkit. It's simple and unsexy, but has saved me so much time now I don't have to play hide and seek with my pencil.

I don't know why I waited so long to buy a proper pencil for working on site. For such a low investment you'll have a pretty heavy duty and reliable pencil that will last a long time. The fit on the clip is great, built in sharpener means you don't need to sharpen with a knife anymore and the extra lead inculded will last a long time.

I use this every day, my work involves installation of electrical equipment and panels and this little pencil has been invaluable. Pros - great quality - holder is nice - sharpener in the holder is great Cons - slightly expensive for what it is

Absolutely brilliant 'tool' but doesn't come with any spare leads as advertised above. I couldn't get a refund or seem to find a way to contact Amazon about this.

Works well, lead doesn't break easily, clips to your belt and has a sharpener in the holster. It's a well thought out product

Very helpful bit of kit

Needed a 'Deep Hole' Pencil for marking out fittings and bought this based on reviews. This items is great quality and works as described. An ideal and necessary addition to any DIY Toolbox. The Holder and Pencil both come with an integral pocket clip ensuring that the pencil is always available and secure. Highly recommended.

Couldn't see to benefit to these pencils until I tried one, I doubt I'll go back to a standard pencil now, very handy, great making on every surface I've tried, easy to sharpen (stays sharp quite well), and ideal making in deep holes. Love it.

First pencil of this kind that I have used that work i.e. The lead does not disappear into the pencil when you write with it. So far - have to ser what happens in the long run.

Wer kennt nicht das Problem, wenn man ein Loch über ein Bauteil an der Wand oder an einem anderen Werkstück anzeichnen möchte. Dieser robuste Bleistift mit einer dicken Mine und einer sehr robusten Minenführung ist von hervorragender Qualität und sehr gut verarbeitet. Was ich an diesem Stift sehr gut finde, ist zum einen der in den Deckel integrierte Spitzer und die lange Minenführung. Man kann selbstverständlich auch alle Markierungsarbeiten mit diesem Bleistift durchführen, die man mit einem normalen Bleistift auch erledigen kann. Ich kann diesen Bleistift sehr empfehlen.

Crayon à mine graphite pour le bricolage à longue tige, permet d’aller dans les trous pour repérer et marquer dans vos bricolage .. excellent la mine est assez solide et le crayon se clip bien .. Je conseille vivement .😁

Product is a fancy pencil. But I wish I bought one years ago. Works well!
