Love these protein bars. Great to have on hand when you need a little extra protein and not able to prepare something.

These bars are basically compressed pumpkin seeds. I like pumpkin seeds but if you don't you won't like this. I have now had the banana bread as well as the brownie flavor. The banana bread flavor is much better in my opinion. The chocolate is way too bitter to be paired with the oily pumpkin seeds (which still is the dominant flavor).The bars are filling and made of wholesome ingredients, but they're really not protein bars. They're more like a meal bar. 260 calories and just 12 grams of protein and 19g of fat shouldn't really be called a protein bar since actual protein bars are more like 200 cals and 20g protein. How can it be a protein bar if it has more fat than protein?If you're not allergic to pea protein (which I unfortunately am) there are other allergy friendly bars that are actually protein bars. These bars do not contain any protein isolate which is certainly driving the cost up and throwing off the macros.

Beware - these items can't be returned. The bar was difficult to chew, flavorless, and the texture was pretty much like roughage. I wanted to return the product but learned that this is not eligible for return. Hoping nobody else makes the roughly $30 mistake I did. Also the box that the brownie flavor came in was covered in oil stains that had apparently seeped out of the bars themselves. Pretty gross.

Fantastic little bar. So glad I found this. Won’t melt in the car like some of those chocolate covered bars. Healthy fat leaves you feeling satiated without the sugar spike.
