what drill bits are compatible? Any universal would work?

You can add any bit holder therefore all bits are compatible. It's of low power which is very handy when making furniture or repairing. It does not cause damage.

Does this come with a case?

No, comes in a box. You can buy standard Einhell cases separately if you have various tools and a few batteries to store.

Yes it has an Hammer drill function which I haven't used so apologies.. However the drill/screwdriver functions are ace and I can recommend the product along with the battery series - it is a great product Hope this helps

Will it drill into masonary

Apologies I have not used the Hammer function However I have used the drill/screwdriver function extensively and would really recommend the product - the batteries are really good and last ages Hope this helps
