I have used a Peanut for my grooming needs for about 8 years and needed to replace the head on it when I came across this cordless groomer/ shaver and decided to try it. I have a very thick beard and buzz my head too.I am very happy with this product. It shaves smoother and closer than my Peanut. It’s much easier to handle and maneuver primarily because of its longer handle. I only had to run it across once, even at harder to reach areas. It leaves my head and face very smooth and hardly any stubble.This product is a great value for the price, a lot cheaper than the name brand it mimics.Buy it, you won’t regret it.

Aesthetically it’s a cool looking trimmer. Build quality and design is exceptional. However, I have to talk about the effectiveness of the trimmer to achieve its solepurpose: precise trimming of hair. In this regard, my experience has been going over the same spot on my face (mustache specifically) multiple times to achieve the intended sharpness. I may have overestimated how sharp and precise the blades would be at this price point, but only consolation I think of is you get what you paid for. I’ve had other trimmers before and the performance of this product is inferior in a meaningful way. Some might say it’s user error and I could calibrate the blade to cut sharper, or even suggest to buy sharper replacement blades. But if I have to buy new blades, might as well just buy better equipment. I have been using trimmers for 15 YEARS, this one is among the disappointing performers. I don’t give 1 star because the product offers some utility in trimming hair, but not at the level of precision I expected.

Bought the product about 3 years ago (03/22) and paid about $34.Used it about 3 times a week for beard, hair and body hair trimming.After 3 years the battery display shows the charge like an iPhone battery display. When fully charged and turned on the display goes from 99 and drops to e.g 20 within 5 minutes but you still can use it and get your job done with full speed for the entire week.The Clipper guards / guard combs that were used the most broke after 2 years.The clippers are still sharp. Be careful cutting without guards or combs if a wrong angle and or pressure is used it could cause skin irritation or injury.So for the price I paid at that time I can’t complain and will use it until the battery doesn’t hold the charge anymore.
