Best. Game. We love game night at our house and this game immediately became the #1 pick! It took a round or two to get the flow but that’s because we came from playing the card version of Clue. This Harry Potter Clue is very fun, easy to set up, quick to learn, and it’s made with great quality. The board is sturdy and the pieces all snap in very well, the way they were intended to operate. Hands down our favorite game!

Love this game. It's a perfect spin on the original game of clue, it stays true and authentic to the original game while enticing little Harry Potter fans. I was worried it might be a little too old for my 7 and 8 year old but they were able to follow along with little help from me. The board and cards are good quality and will withstand many hours of play! Would definitely purchase and gift again.

We love playing clue and HP Clue has great twists on how to play. We love that it takes us longer to figure out the mystery because of the fun details this version has to the game. Doors and passages open and shut, the dark cards and help cards are a fun challenge. Recommend to all clue and HP fans. Easy to set up and put away. Very cool, interactive board. My youngest is 9 and it was fun for all of us!

We are enjoying the game after figuring out a way to play with only 2 players. I must not have read the description close enough and was surprised after setting it up that it is for 3 - 5 players. The board has moveable wheels that change the game play during each turn. There are secret passageways to allow you to get to other rooms quickly without getting caught in the corridors. Fun game especially those that enjoy Clue and Harry Potter! Two Player: We have four cards that we keep facedown in the center. If the other player does not have what we are asking for, we then look at one of the facedown cards in the center.

Such a fun twist on the classic clue game! Pieces of the board move and it’s much more complex which makes game play even better. It’s a staple on game nights now!

So, we began to set this up the night we received it. Took a while to get all the pieces punched out and clipped onto the board but it wasn't that big of a deal. We decided to play it the following night as it was getting pretty late and we know Clue can be a long game... We have a 7yo who is obsessed with HP and an 11yo who also loves HP. I was a little concerned our 7yo would struggle with game play, as she can't read some of the big words used but she did alright! Note: That was after about an hour of reading the instructions and trying just to set it up for game play 😅 (jk, kinda!) ... It was a bit difficult to understand exactly what we were doing (we read the instructions constantly while playing) and honestly super complicated the first time played but after a few rounds I think we will be able to play it with more ease. That said, the game construction itself is quality, graphics are wonderful, the concept behind the Dark Cards, help carda and the dice rolls is really fun (you can really get into feeling like a character in the castle if you let your imagination run) but there's still a few things we're confused about that aren't really solidly explained in the instructions. What are the all black (both sides) cards for? We didn't see a purpose in the instructions so we felt like we were maybe playing it wrong in some way. I reread the entire instruction sheet through 3 times thinking maybe I missed it somewhere?! (I didn't! It doesn't mention those cards anywhere!) Other than that, it's fun for a family game night. Even dad enjoyed & he's not really into HP (maybe it's because he joined up with our 7yo to help her understand how the game works and they won 🤔🤣 See their winning card they had to gloat and put on the fridge, lol). I recommend this game for HP and Clue enthusiasts!

I'm a huge Harry Potter fan and absolutely love this game. The one complaint is that the score sheets are small and some family members found it hard to read, but I may make a larger version for them.

Je l’ai offert a ma soeur pour Noël . On a adoré! Il est possible de jouer avec ou sans les règles « Harry Potter » mais elles sont super simples a comprendre et rendent le jeux encore plus le fun pour les fan des films. J’adore le fait que les passages secrets changent d’un tour à un autre. Ça rend vraiment divertissant la game. Pour ce qui est de la qualité, c’est tres bien, outre les roulettes des quatre coins qui font un frottement lorsqu’elles tournent (alors ça tourne moins bien). Il y a moyens de « patenter » quelque chose. Pour notre par on a mis des petits coussin de tissus comme on colle sous les meubles, chaques coins, afin de surélever la planche de jeu et éviter le frottement!

Como fan de HP y del juego de clue, creo que es una de las mejores inversiones que se pueden hacer. Claro que cualquiera puede jugarlo, pero es menos probable que entienda todas las referencias que están ahí y más porque está en inglés. Es más complicado que el clue normal, sí necesitas un poco más de tiempo y estrategia, pero una vez que lo entiendes es muy entretenido. No tiene muñecos de Harry Potter, pero en mi opinión eso es mejor. En resumen, vale la pena.

Arrived in a plastic envelope which explained slight dents at corners of box where it was likely handled. Hoped for 3D Harry Potter pawns/ miniatures for its price but only contained cardboard prints. Otherwise I am very much happy with the game itself.

We had a blast playing it - wish it had little objects like the original clue instead of cards but we still loved it. It has some differences from regular clue that made it fun!
