WORKMAN KA-52SS CB Radio Antenna Stainless Steel Barrel Spring for 102" Whips

Works exactly as expected on a Breedlove brass antenna mount for either 102" whip or 10-40 meter Ham sticks.

I used it for the antenna on my mobile.

Very heavy duty which is good. I had one from another company that came loose and I lost it on the trail. This one was easy to tighten down and have taken several off road trips in my Jeep since installing it and it works great.

Cant believe its stainless its so weak. Have a cowtown dual coil antenna on it and its all over the place. Definite return

A must for any antenna installation. Great quality

Junk, fell apart right out of the package. Attempted to squeeze the end cap back on but the mere weight of the whip had it falling apart straight away. This also exposed the awful internal connections which were comprised of a pair of haphazardly connected near hair-thin wire strung around cross threaded bolts... wish I was joking, but then again they probably didn't expect anyone to see inside. Not to mention the spring winding itself has little strength to support a standard 102" whip. And all this before I realized it isn't even the very same item as pictured here, the end caps are smooth around, offering no way to tighten beyond the hand's grip. So in summary.... SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE!EDIT: Replaced with a Hustler/NewTronics "SSM-3" spring & the difference in quality was apparent immediately in both material & design (much higher grade stainless material, tool accessible hex end-caps, considerably stiffer spring works perfect with a 102", proper durable internal wired connection, etc).
