Broil King 18434 Stainless Steel Infinity Burner T501, Silver

Everyone who has ever bought a standard size (400 sq in) cast aluminum grill made by OMC in Canada, (for example Broil-Mate xx1551-xx or Huntington 665154) that came with a 20.5 x 8" H-burner needs to be aware that this much better and more durable "infinity" burner from the Broil-King Crown series is an exact fit and provides a much more even flame over much longer life.You do lose the option for electronic ignition with this, but the ignition on my Broil-Mate grill never really worked. Its much easier to use a long butane lighter (fireplace lighter) at the lighting port on the right side of the firebox anyway.The Crown series was never widely available outside of Canada and where it was it was a LOT more expensive than the Broil-Mate or Huntington equivalent. This part totally transforms the performance of the grill by eliminating heat gradient from the center to the left and right edges of the grill. It also lasts longer. And it doesn't cost much more. I think it's no brainer and a great life hack. You $200 can last almost indefinitely and can work better than it was actually designed to work.

This is the perfect replacement part for a grill that was purchased on Amazon over 10 years ago! I was pleasantly surprised the part was still available. It fit like a glove which leads me to believe it was not a substituted part.

Really cooks very nice! I think it spreads the heat around better than the H burner that came with my model. I would recommend this for a great replacement burner.

Even though it was "Made in China" it is well made. I'm sure Broil King would have it no other way. Otherwise, it works well and I'm happy with the product.

Better than what Broil King used originally in my Crown 20 BBQ except that the igniter doesn't have a location to attache to anymore. Igniter still clicks and sparks, just lays in bottom of grill, so I use a long lighter in the side hole. The new burner is figure 8 shape with full coverage, the OEM was "H" shaped with no burners along the edges, this makes for better coverage and it also burns hotter so you might need to dial down the gas levels. Love it!

Item as described. Resurrected my older grill. Doesn't appear to get as hot as originally but does what it needed. Would purchase again.

Flawless fit and function. Replaced a 20 year old original and the grill works like new. Not cheap, but a lot cheaper than a new grill!
