A beautiful instrument of top quality, made right here in America
I haven't had it but a few days yet. I've done plenty of research on the construction, prices and accessory packaging with ukulele sold in Amazon. And I believe this Ranch Baritone uke is the very best choice I could have made. It has the last 4 strings of a guitar (two of them are metal strings!), and it has very mellow sound for a uke. Yet with a capo, I can get that traditional hawiian beach ukulele sound too. It can be strung with bass strings for a totally different sound. I'm a total beginner here, but my dreams extend to the future, where.... I actually bought a music book of Pink Floyd for Ukelele. Some day! But gotta learn to play this fine instrument first. It is first rate quality, very beautiful. Made of epele wood, which is a type of mahogony. I love it's sound and resonance and it beauty. I believe I have a masterpiece here as well as an heirloom. I'm still working on getting it 'tuned' as the strings are still stretching. Value for money? If you buy anything else, kick yourself in the butt. I'm finding it easy to to pick out simple tunes already, and being a uke, it's very functional and easy to play. I'm one happy customer, it came with a really nice gig bag and a strap, a polishing cloth and a couple picks. The accessory compartment on the back of the bag is very roomy, I've already stuffed it with a capo, spare strings a tuner, extra pics, musicians gloves, a practice monkey two jugs of wine, music book, and a pair of tickets to the theater. 🤨 Not really, but holds just about anything you need to take along with you. 😎 Seriously, you can't go wrong with a Ranch Ukuklele, these are made here in the US of A.

Outstanding value for solid starter uke
Ranch baritone ukulele purchased for casual play by beginning senior adult. Nice complete kit. Uke arrived in perfect condition, well packaged and with strings in place. Nice addition to have an extra set of strings included. Instrument fits well in bag. Easy to tune and strings have held their pitch very well. Baritone size is good for older hands with more room on fretboard and comfortable playing position. Sound of this uke is fine with no discernible poor individual notes. Tuner includes battery and works OK for starting out, but a bit jumpy and had some screen flicker, so that's a bargain basement item. Tuning modes are hard to see on screen. Anyway, I was buying a ukulele, not a tuner, and later I can get a tuner of my choice if needed. Recommended for casual play out of the box and lots of fun.

A nice Uke for the money!
So far I like this uke. Are there better quality ukuleles out there? Absolutely. However this uke is well made. It's the the first baritone ukulele I've owned... or really even listened to for that matter... so I don't really have a reference as to if it sounds good or bad. It has a nice tone and all the strings resonate evenly. I'd kind of like to hear it have a little more low end punch but I have to keep in mind that my main instrument that I play is bass... so I tend to want to hear things be a little more bassy than a lot of folks. I'm enjoying playing it and I believe it certainly had potential to be a great uke!

Well made baritone Ukulele with excellent sound and playability
Excellent beginner baritone ukulele. Surprisingly loud for size. I used it to play for groups of school children. I had to replace the bridge to stop fret buzz, easy fix. I was assured that this was not a common problem. Customerservice responsiveness was excellent

Perfect for my needs.
I had a soprano uke but found it hard to play with my large fingers. A friend suggested I get a baritone. I chose this one because the reviews and price. I was not disappointed. Looks nice, feels nice and plays well. It's not a professional model by any means, but then, I'm no professional. The included accessories are a nice bonus and are very functional. Perfect for my needs. Much easier for me than the soprano.

Great starter kit!
Very nice starter kit. Ukulele sounds good. Holds it's tune after the strings stretch. I would recommend a super soft pick or a finger pick, but I don't really use them anyway so it's no big deal. I really don't have any complaints. Good deal for the price!

This is my first baritone ukulele. I am very pleased. I'm sure there are better ukuleles on the market if you're a pro and willing to spend more, but this one sounds great for playing at home, making music for yourself. It sounds great, keeps in tune well and plays well around a campfire. If you are a professional musician, don't berate this for not sounding like an instrument at a way more expensive price point.
