Limitless: Nine Steps to Launch Your One Extraordinary Life

I have adopted this book in my college-level business course. It is an exceptional resource on many levels. At a 35,000 feet level, Limitless is truly about personal responsibility and accountability. As the title suggests, Peter Ruppert provides nine steps for readers to launch THEIR extraordinary life. The emphasis on 'their' is important. At its heart, this book does an exceptional job of providing a framework for readers to set goals and, even more importantly, create a plan to achieve these goals. Seizing on the increasingly unfamiliar yet exceedingly important idea that the world doesn't owe you anything, Mr. Ruppert creates a sense of urgency surrounding the importance of recognizing that your future is in YOUR hands. While this may be daunting to some readers, it is important to stress that once this realization settles in, the book provides examples/framework for how one can create the future they desire.As a resource in a college class, the exercises at the end of each chapter provide excellent 'homework'. Additionally, the worksheets, aka "success plans" on the book website can be freely downloaded and used by readers. These are extremely helpful in solidifying one's plan of action and as a way of holding the reader accountable.As someone that regularly seeks to empower young people to achieve greatness, this is an excellent resource!

My first reaction was "Why wasn't this available to me earlier on in my life / career?" The book is filled with insightful, yet relatable and applicable, pieces of advice and steps to launching a truly meaningful life and reaching our full potential. Oftentimes, in reading books from successful individuals, we're sometimes left with the impression they were overnight success stories, and the book tends to emphasize the high points, but lacks in applicable, day to day steps that can be implemented into our lives for self-improvement or in the vulnerable, relatable components for those who may be struggling with how to unlock their potential or hit that next inflection point in their lives. I found the content of "Limitless" to be extremely relevant to anyone wherever they may be in life or their careers.I have now begun using this with a high school group I advise / coach, in addition to some college students I mentor, all of whom have found the content to be extremely valuable, and even intend to provide copies to the rest of our management team at work. Thank you, Peter Ruppert, for sharing your story with us and providing us with some stepping stones to launch our extraordinary lives!

This book is so good that I'm rereading it, but this time, with my 11 year old daughter. She absolutely loves it and now her excitement is catching the attention of her two sisters. The author does a great job of detailing his real life trials and tribulations and I've even caught my daughter underlining memorable points and sayings. Once we are finished, I am going to put a summary of the main topics on my daughters' bathroom mirror, just like the author did for his children.The author details the importance of dreaming big, taking the first step and that it's okay to fail (and often).If you need motivation to jump-start your life, regardless of your age, this book is for you.If you're already a self-motivated individual, regardless of your age, this book is for you.This book should be required reading for high school seniors before they head out into the real world. The book's subject matter is applicable to any profession - business, education, military - everything! I purchased several copies and will be giving them out as Christmas gifts to coworkers and friends.This is a great book and it will not disappoint!

I purchased Limitless for my young adult son as he is early in his career. But I have to admit, I thoroughly enjoyed the book and found applications and a tune up after over 30 years in my executive career and in pursuing my personal dreams and definition of success.Peter Ruppert is very relatable and humble in sharing both his success and also his trials and hurdles in pursuing his dream's and success. He has every right to speak on this subject as he has tested, refined and certainly delivered on the nine steps. As I am convinced and passionate about mentoring and teaching life skills to teens and young adults, this book is definitely in the curriculum going forward and required reading in the future.While I regret not implementing a limitless discipline and "spirit" in my younger days, I still am blessed that the idea of being Limitless in Life is a timeless message and the well defined applications and direction in each chapter regardless of age. For me, this book was journey of remembering my hurdles and milestones in my own life that reinforces a better roadmap for success and happiness when "Limitless"!

I've known Pete Ruppert for many years, and have closely followed his careers! He is truly a self made young man, who has not only been incredibly successful, but has enriched the lives of many young men and women who have been fortunate enough to fall under his influence. After reading "Limitless", I was moved to order 8 additional copies, and sent a copy to each of our 8 Grandchildren, who range in age from 17 to 27. Their current status ranges from a senior in High School, to 4 currently in College, including one doing graduate level work, and 3 who are out of school and enjoying success in Business and Medicine. In my cover letter to each of them, I urged them to read and then use "Limitless" as an ongoing resource and guide over time. Beyond the wisdom from the author's experiences, the many books identified as resources, if used, will be well worth the investment in time and energy. "Limitless" is truly a real jewel!
