I was surprised how hard it is to find box file folders that look nice, fully hide the files inside (no metal mesh!) but aren't ridiculously expensive. Both in-store and online - they are hard to find. These are still expensive if you need to buy multiples like I did, but after alot of research they were the best and lowest $ option to meet my needs. They look fantastic on my shelf, and feel like they will last for a long time.

I love this thing! I didn’t give 5 stars for sturdiness because technically it’s a paper box, it’s sturdiness is obviously limited.I love the size, love the look. It fits on my bookshelf, and I love the little metal handle to help pull it out. You need the handle, because if you grab by the lid you send your files crashing at odd angles off the tracks.

Bought this several months ago to archive our mortgage paperwork that was taking up too much room in the file cabinet. Since our mortgage has been paid off since June 2020, I needed something that I wouldn't be looking through on a day to day basis. The lid does overlap and that is because of the hanging file folders. If you bought this to store files that you will be handling day to day, this one is not for you.....as wear and tear will take it toll. As an archival file box, it's perfect. I am getting 2 more today to archive our retirement/pension/401K paperwork and past surgical medical records and life insurance paperwork. Our millennial children will have no problem finding paperwork when we leave this earth. Everything is sorted and labeled.

Looks great, beautiful design, very useful and easy to assemble. Perfect for documents, magazines and papers in general.

The box came as advertised, holds file folders and works well. The metal bracket looks good too. I just wish the box looked a little more finished or substantial.

I looked and looked around for a solution for my pattern hoarding lol. I was using plastic mini crates. While they were useful, they were just not what I need for what I have. These fit a 6.5X9 envelope perfectly, and a 6X9 envelope just as well. Now there is less clutter with the crates and running out of room to put them. I love that these stack on top of each other without issues. I’m going to have to order more to get the rest of my patterns in order! There are more than what’s pictured!As you can see I even personalized mine with vinyl!My only issue is that I feel the price is a little too high. I would have ordered these and more a while back if the price wasn’t so steep for multiple purchases.

These are better than I had expected. Even for the hefty price for one. They are extremely sturdy. Hanging folders fit very nice in them. I always have trouble when the hanging files do not fit (either the item is too small so the files to do fit, or too big and hanging = falling). These are absolutely perfect. And they are beautiful. Simple and beautiful.Once I complete my at home work set up I will be buying more as needed!!

the picture suggests it comes with hanging files. it doesn't. It is expensive for basically a posh cardboard box. it's a shame that attractive filing solutions are not more common as many of of us have home offices now in bedrooms etc

This is too narrow for standard hanging files and the lid just balances in the top. Not well designed.

I was certain that it would have the hanging files with it, the photo denotes as much and the product description is not clear that it doesn’t. It is essentially a very expensive box.

Love the look. Made from sturdy cardboard-like material. Fitted the hanging type file folders I already had. If I end up needing more space for files I would buy another.
