Z-O-M-B-I-E-S isn't Bring it On with Zombies thrown in, you can tell by the DVD cover that the zombies in this aren't scary at all and that this is something that would likely air in the Saturday morning Disney or Nickelodean TV shows time slots in the school holidays or something. That's exactly what it is, we've got bright, very clean school halls, streets (even the zombie ghetto is very clean). Everything resembles a kids' Saturday morning TV show set. Basically this has a formulaic plot done with similar community discriminating against a certain group movies, so there's no overall surprises or twists. What you're watching this for is the enjoyment of the cast delivering that same story and group dancing and singing. It's not a musical, dialogue is spoken, actions are done, but they do Victorious or Glee style break out into songs and dance every now and then. Whilst none will become classic songs played on the radio in their own right, they are enjoyable enough and unlike some similar movies, not something you need to use the skip button for.The basic plot has a number of decades ago an accident involving a spilt soft drink and a power plant caused a zombies who eat human brains outbreak. But a cure was found, the infected rehoused in Zombietown, separated from the rest of the formerly clean and Stepford Wives style pleasant place to live town residents by a wall. But now the zombies of those decades ago have had kids and those kids are now teens and those teens act like normal teens and want the same future and opportunities the "normals" as they are branded have, so the government is forcing integration in the town school. If you ever saw that episode of Picket Fences in the 90's where African American inner city kids were bused to the small mostly white resident town school and most of the teachers and adults were against the idea due to fear, ignorance and even racism, this is basically the same thing with zombies, except the school has entrances on both sides of the fence, so the zombies just walk there. Ironically the biggest mean girl type bullies in the school are from groups that previously have been the victims of hate - openly gay male cheerleaders, and teens of Asian and African heritage. There are also racist zombies who don't want normals on their turf.I enjoyed the movie. Sure the realism factor isn't great. You've got characters such as Addison who can suddenly join in on choreographed dancing numbers being done by zombies when she's never seen the dance before let alone rehearsed doing it with the zombie characters. But that doesn't really matter.

Ich habe lange nach einer deutschen Fassung auf dvd von diesem Film gesucht und endlich hier gefunden. Der Film ist ein muss für alle Fans von Disney und Musicals. Die Lieferung erfolgte schnell und problemlos. Alles top und klare Kaufempfehlung.

Mes 3 filles de 5 à 10 ans, sont fan de ce film. Elle le regarde à répétition bien qu'habituellement elles n'accrochent pas aux programmes de tv.Les personnages sont "ado" avec une petite fille qui va plaire aux plus petits. Les votent bien que les personnages sont maquillés en zombie et cela leur plait, du fait qu il ne soit pas effrayant.Le fait qu il y a ait des danses à répétition avec des chants, les filles se sont mises à reproduire les chorégraphies et on télécharger les musiques pour chanter.L histoire a une bonne morale sir la différence des uns et des autres que l on doit tous accepter.

Wenn man Disneyfan ist muss man diesen Film gesehen haben. Hier sind die Zombies ausnahmsweise mal nicht die Bösen. Man fühlt mit ihnen mit, verdrückt ab und zu sogar ein Tränchen und hofft so sehr, dass es für sie ein gutes Ende nehmen wird. Die Gesangseinlagen sind genial und bleiben einem noch lange im Kopf. Schaut euch diesen Film an!

Toller Film mit schönen Gesangs- und Tanzszenen! Meine kleine Tochter und ich können ihn immer wieder anschauen. Es wird auch gerne mitgetanzt. Wunderbar!

Sehr schöner film der für jede Altersgruppe geeignet ist die schauspieler und die Musik ist auch super sehr zu empfehlen
