If you sit all day at your computer, this is the mouse pad to get. Not only is the wrist pad comfortable but after one year of use, it has not worn down in the middle like all the others. It's also the most precise for cursor placement and movement due to the texture and pattern of the pad surface. It's the perfect size and stays put with the backing material that doesn't discolor wood over time. And.... it looks modern, clean and kind of cool. The write pad also has a faux leather appearance which is classy and doesn't wear out compared to others that have the neoprene like material that gets filthy over time. Tip: If the mouse has any difficulty with accuracy, just clean the surface with window cleaner and a cloth and it's back to new.

Update— after months of use:I have tried numerous ways to flatten it out, but the corners still curve upwards. I would consider this an overall 3.5* product. It will last forever and is very comfortable but it won’t lay flat.Excellent surface for precision and speed, except the corners bend slightly upwards... I find the pad is amazingly accurate for all my work apps + RTS/RPG games and also easy to clean, because it has a smooth finish that can be wiped off with a damp cloth. I've even hosed it down in the sink when I spilled coffee on it, because it has no absorbent or cloth-like surfaces (despite this fact, it is very supportive and comfortable). Non-slip backing is top-notch. 5 stars for these chracteristics.3* justification/why it's 4* overall-- For FPS gaming, if you use a medium or low mouse sensitivity, this pad probably isn't big enough for you (check dimensions) and also, the corners curl up. The curvature of the pad will affect play when sweeping motions are made, towards the edges, and may also be less responsive if you are perched there, especially, if you are like me and use HIGH mouse sensitivity. I would suggest a larger precision mousing surface and a separate wrist rest for all FPS players. I break out my old mousepad for playing shooters and it works fine.

made for precision and comfort. back side is somewhat tacky rubber material which makes it stick to a desk. the gel wrist pad is large enough to be useful, unlike similar designs which skimp on the density or thickness of this component.actually a huge improvement of mouse resolution and performance compared to a fabric mousepad - the surface is durable plastic with fine optical pattern - you will think you got a new mouse, just using this.

This mouse pad looks just like the photographs. My mouse travels well over the pad and the pattern contributes to excellent tracking. My only complaint is that the mousepad is curling on the leading edges, furthest from the wrist rest. The pad is more of a cup than a flat surface. Tracking is still good, but the curling is a distraction.

This review is for the one with the built-in gel wrist wrest MW85B.I have the matching wrist rest WR85B, so I thought I'd get this one. The wrist wrest is OK. This mouse pad is, however, garbage!For starters, it is not even close to being flat. It is warped/dished, and the corners raise off my desk 1/8" to 1/4". So, as you move the mouse around, it is flopping around as well. This is a deal breaker for me. I tried to flatten it out with no improvement whatsoever.Next, it is really too small. Like the wrist wrest, the gel is quite hard, and, therefore, it's best to use it as a PALM rest. Either way, it is too short. From where your wrist wrests, the mouse goes off the top of the pad often. Width-wise, it is OK. Not generous, but OK.Additionally, it is a very scratchy/rough material for the mouse surface. It feels like you are almost dragging your mouse on sandpaper. It does not move easily, and, considering I am using a very expensive/precious Logitech MX Revolution mouse, I don't want it wearing the pads off.Finally, sort of a con, but these are not the "satin pillow" that 3M describes, but rather a firm (almost no give) gel/rubber with a matte soft-touch vinyl cover much like you might see on some automotive surfaces.In sum, the wrist wrest is OK, but the mouse pad version is terrible.
