Tram 1290 NMO Rain Cap Black Heavy-Duty Plastic with O Ring Gasket for Secure Weather Protection

I bought the Tram 1290 to cover my Antenna Specialists 3/8” NMO VHF antenna base after I temporarily removed the antenna and tapered spring. The Tram cover fit perfectly and works well. I would have preferred if it came with a base gasket but used clear silicone instead. The Tram 1290 is a simple but necessary product for older mobile antenna users.

Fits well on my mag mount, will order an extra one.

Works well and no flaws

Perfect fit but the o-ring doesn't stay in, so don't count on using it. Use some dielectric grease on the NMO mount to keep all water out.

I bought this to cover the NMO mount when I remove the antenna and run on my Jeep through the car wash. It works "OK", but the plastic threads seems to be a little off making it a little finicky to install quickly. Still does the job though.

I needed to remove my antenna from the mount before going through the car wash to keep from breaking it, and bought this cap to put on the mount to protect it from the water, soap, etc. in the wash. It takes a few seconds to screw this on after taking the antenna off and it keeps the contact points safe and dry. After the wash, it is a matter of seconds to zip it off and put the antenna back on. I'm very happy with it!
