A Little Stiff
I ordered these to replace my old pair since my old pair was getting "stiff". I was a bit disappointed as these worked the same as the pair I was replacing.

scissors
Regular scissors are a pain to pick up and put down all the time. These I hold in my hand all the time and they are not in the way.

Spring action thread snippers
My mother had another brand of thread snippers that she owned for about 40 years. When she passed away, I inherited her sewing supplies and enjoyed these scissors very much. Such a pleasure to snip stitching on anything one wants to rip apart, also to use at the sewing machine to snip the sewing threads. I passed them on to my daughter. I then wished I had not. So I went looking for a pair of my own and came across these. They are wonderful! So very sharp, and the points are very "pointy" and makes it so easy to snip anything you wish. Thank you. Wiss has always been a brand one could trust and I would say after over 50 years, it still is. Enjoy!

Did not open and close easily. I have had other Wiss Nippers before and ...
I would have given it 5 stars, but the blades kept sticking when we first got it. Did not open and close easily. I have had other Wiss Nippers before and love them. We were able to fix them by removing the center screw to open them up and a small metal burr fell out. Ever since then, they operate perfectly.

Good nippers
I took a chance on these (no reviews!), because I wanted an all metal pair of nippers, and these fit the bill. Some of the plastic handled ones are so lightweight, it feels like they'll get away from you. I wasn't disappointed. These are great, and they have just enough weight to them. The spring action is solid, and they haven't gotten stuck closed like some cheaper pairs. They can be fully disassembled for sharpening, which isn't mentioned on the product page. They also come with a plastic cap to protect the points (and your hands) when not in use, so they're easy enough to toss in your sewing/knitting bag. I doubt that they're TSA approved, though, but that's not an issue for me. I'm a very happy customer.

Unexpectedly nice nippers!
I've never used thread nippers before. I've always fumbled around with upholstery shears and even seam rippers to do this task. I'm already in love with the convenience of having them hanging off of the side of my sewing table. They took a couple hours to get used to holding but now that I've adapted, I can't imagine not having them at my disposal. It's making my life that much easier and easy, is always welcome, especially in the shop.

My wife is great at losing things
My wife is great at losing things. She lost another pair of snips for all of the knitting and crocheting that she does, of course she finds them years later. These have been the best pair of snips she has had as they keep an edge much longer and were a fraction of the cost of the others she had to have.
