It just works fine with my old HP M451dn. I once got a defective cartridge that was replaced very quickly. Piece of advice: always have two sets.

Work as described

These refurbished things are cheap, and you get exactly that. I installed these in an HP Laserjet, cleaned up the print for a few days. The printer was off for a few days, and the next print went right back to red streaking on pages. I could blame the printer, but the print rollers are integrated into the print cartridges. These are garbage, and a total waste of money.UPDATE, 2/7/23: The vendor did provide a replacement free of charge, and was looking for further updates. That was fine, the replacement cartridges were clean, but I reserved judgement to see how long these would last. They didn't make it through a ream of paper - less than 100 pages was printed, and now the yellow cartridge is streaking across the paper. At least it is less offensive than blue or red streaks across your work, although it does look like the printed page was intended to be highlighted every other line. I will re-instate my previous review. These recycled cartridges are definitely not worth the money. Original Equipment cartridges are cost prohibitive, so my next step would be to find another vendor of recycled cartridges to see if there are any vendors that can provide reliable cartridges for an HP LaserJet 400 color printer.

Why pay chain store prices?? These are just recycled printer cartridges that work just fine! And WAY cheaper!! :)

The biggest issue with generic cartridges is compatibility. However, I've successfully used these twice with an HP LJ 400 without any problems.

I love my HP color laser but the cost of HP cartridges was about to make me get rid of it. I use it for home printing. I read a bunch of reviews that were mixed, and decided to give these toner cartridges a try. The printer doesn’t recognize them as HP, but the HP print app recognized how full they are. They print just as well as the HP cartridges. I haven’t had any of the streaking some reviewers experienced. And on Amazon, the cost for the full set of four was about half the price of one HP cartridge. So they have worked great for me.

Good product

The instructions for installing the cartridges were clear and easy to follow. The colors are beautiful.
