Stoopidheads get ready! The long awaited re-release of Slighty Stoopid's first 2 albums SELF TITLED (1996) and THE LONGEST BARREL RIDE (1998); both cult classics originally released by Sublime on their independent record label Skunk Records. These records which have been out of print since 1999, have sold for as much as $400 on eBay and feature a very special not so secret track featuring deceased Sublime singer Bradley Nowell. For this re-release; the two records are packaged together in a bonus pack, offering fans who have not been able to get these two titles, both of them for one price.

Favorite Stoopid album, Amazon reject.
Music is awesome, 2 Amazon orders of this in a row were from an obvious bad batch of colored version. Most of the record is clear with an irregular amount of blue color in the center. This seems to be an obvious attempt to get rid of bad stock.

New Blue Vinyl Record
Purchased 4/1, the new clear blue version arrived, so stoked! From their website "Release Date: April 1, 2022. The Longest Barrel Ride released for the first time ever on 12" vinyl. On Electric Blue Transparent 180g vinyl."Sounds good, the edges of the sleeves were partially ripped from shipping, may return but it'll most likely happen again. Good stuff.

OG OB punk and reggae as it should be
Before they became a reggae bandDon’t blame them there is way more money in reggae than punk these days

My favorite album of all time
This album should be owned by anyone who likes reggae. Beautiful melodies float in and out, track after track. Miles, the lead singer, was good friends with Brad from Sublime, and you can definitely feel his influence in this album. It's hard for me to say this, but I think that this band is even better than Sublime. They have more of a roots sound to them, their harmonies are way tighter, and the percussion is ten times better(in my opinion, unimaginative percussion was Sublime's biggest setback). There is more to this album than reggae. They have solid punk with angst-driven guitar riffs that'll make you want to tear your hair out. They also have some nice instrumental songs that are blended together nicely in the first half of the album. BUY THIS ALBUM

Good tunes.
I heard some songs off a newer album that reminded me of Sublime and they were pretty cool. So i went on amazon and found this double disc which i believe are their first two albums. Not like the ones i heard, but really good in their own way. Kind of like a punk/ska sound. Good buy and good tunes.

Longest Barrel Ride
I love the reggae-cali beats that are unique to Slightly Stoopid and the Longbeach crew. This is one of the best albums, but I thought it was a little expensive.

i think it is a great cd, a little faster pace of music, but still has some funky west coast vibe
