Is inclusion and diversity shown in the pictures and encouraged in the written words?

It’s so good that you asked I’m especially proactive for inclusion and diversity. The photos are of different races/skin tones and a hint of other cultures. There are two children, who are in a rainbow and surrounded by one, but I’d say it’s a bit on the heavy “white” side. Also, it’s just kids. Nothing inter generational. The makers ask for suggestions. The imagery is nature and the illustrations are sweet I think it is serious educators who have developed these. I have an adopted family from Iran from a boy of ten to the grandmother like me. I intend to use it together with them maybe daily because mindfulness/meditation just is so good. I myself suffer from ptsd and my family has been through things unimaginable. These cards are so nicely boxed and they have soft corners and the cards are really generously sized and are sturdy. Whatever I paid, it was an excellent deal and I will buy them again for gifts and for my therapists to use. I am a firm follower of mindfulness and meditative thiought, feeling and exploration. It’s so good children learn early it’s benefits. And one also experiences nature, which is vanishing more and more form our planet. My only suggestion is the photos be more inter generational

Would these be appropriate for a physically handicapped, wheelchaired 8-year old? I'm worried about the actions the card asks the child to do.

The breathing exercise that precedes the meditations starts off asking they “sit or lie comfortably”. The rest of the meditations are more “mindful” than physical, so I feel a physically handicapped individual would be able to enjoy them very much! We haven’t done all of them yet but thus far none have asked to do anything physical. I hope this helps! We are huge fans of these cards.
