Well made. Works great! Love!
I cannot believe I paid approximately $100 for a waffle maker. And more importantly, would say that it is worth every penny! I love this thing!! I have used it for several months now and have found: It heats well/ fairly quickly, cooks well-you really can get crispy and soft waffles at the same time (setting 4), doesn’t stick (use a bit of butter on both the top and bottom), and notifies you with a loud beep when it is done cooking. Plus it cooks 2 waffles simultaneously. At my house we have pretty much given up pancakes for waffles because of this machine and how easy it is to operate and clean (plates do not come off; I use a damp rag to clean) and because of how quickly we can get the waffles done. I know-$100 is a lot to pay for a product that only does one thing (makes waffles). But in my opinion it is definitely worth it. If you have used a Belgium waffle maker at a hotel breakfast, this is very similar(if not identical) to that. The waffles that you make on this machine come out like the ones you make at the hotels (or order at a restaurant). You just need to experiment with what type of waffle mix to use/make.

Perfect Waffles. Very easy to use
Took me a day or two to figure out how much batter to use, but I really enjoy this waffle maker. The first day I put a little too much batter in so it wouldn’t fully close to be able to flip over. The batter expanded too much and wouldn’t allow it to latch/lock to flip/twist it upside down. It’s very easy to clean compared to my last one. The cook time is perfect for me when I have it set at 3. I can see this lasting. The ease of turning it over and the pan underneath to keep counters clean works well.

Makes perfect waffles!
Great waffle maker. Makes waffles soft and tender. It cooks quickly and evenly. The waffles pop out easily and don’t stick to the grids. For the price this is a great buy.

Quick cooking, non-stick Belgian waffle maker at a very reasonable price
I ordered this Cuisinart WAF-F30 Round Flip Belgian Waffle Maker and it arrived very quickly. I got the one that makes one waffle at a time because it is just my husband and me. That said, this waffle maker cooked the waffle in at least half the time of my former maker…. about 2 minutes. So, it will be easy to cook multiple waffles for guests. The light goes on when it’s ready, you pour in the perfect amount of batter with the included 1 cup dispenser. You then smooth out the batter, flip and the green light goes off. When it comes back on the waffle is done. These 1-inch-thick waffles came out soft in the middle with a crisp outside. This is so much better than my previous Hamilton Beech waffle maker, where the waffles were gummy. The non-stick plates work really well, no sticking at all and the nooks are deeper than conventional waffle irons. I like the fact that there is a drip pan included but it is unnecessary as the dispenser makes it easy to put in the exact amount of batter necessary. I agree with another reviewer that the machine feels a bit flimsy. I noticed this when I cleaned the top plate when I got it out of the box, it felt a little wobbly, but I used soap because it came from the factory, and I was trying to get it all off. Now, I can just wipe it clean after use, and not worry so much about a deep cleaning as the iron really has a good non-stick surface. I think this is perfect for home use, it is not a commercial waffle iron. This is kid friendly, as it is similar to those used at breakfast bars in hotels. Positives: • Very easy to use • High grade non-stick surface • Measuring cup to avoid overfilling • Super-fast cooking • Small size • Drip catcher • Very reasonably priced Negatives: • No on off switch (have to unplug) • No buzzer when waffles are done For the money this is an excellent little cooking item. It works very well and is cleverly designed. If you are cooking for a crowed, get the double model, if it is just a couple this is fine. 5 stars

Flimsy build but Cooks quite well.
Today is my first at-bat with this new (to me) waffle maker. My first impressions & use experience. Flat-out Flimsy. The thing feels positively flimsy. If you like solid, well-built tools (kitchen and otherwise), that will be a disappointment. From what I can tell, the whole assembly is plastic, except for parts of the cooking plate sub-assembly and the tinny little drip catcher plate. Plastic can be OK, but this isn't great. On my unit, there is a fair amount of wobble right out of the box on the front and back upright portions (which together suspend the cooking plate assembly, enabling rotation). That's why I took off one point. I might should have taken off two for this. On the other hand... Wicked Waffles. I cooked up a batch of waffles using a basic Melissa Clark recipe from NY Times Cooking for the batter. And the waffles came out great. "Great" here meaning: very crispy outside, tender inside, light as air. It's about as good as any waffle I've ever had. So that's where the four star rating comes from. Let the Steam Guide You. If your preference is for a crispy waffle surface, then I strongly agree with another reviewer who suggests using the steam rising out of the iron as a better indicator of doneness than the indicator light on this product (thank you to that reviewer!). On my first several waffles, I tried using the light as my guide. It never came close to what I was looking for, not at the middle (3) setting (too wimpy for my tastes), and not on the 4.5 / 5 setting. But just glancing at the steam flow out of the iron when on the higher setting worked quite well. When there is just a thin bit of steam flowing out, the waffle was done nicely. You might have to experiment a bit, as I suspect the various methods of assessing 'doneness' could vary some with the moisture content of your batter. Many Waffles Per Liter. This waffle iron makes pretty great waffles with very little batter -- like, surprisingly little batter (to me). As in: it really doesn't look like you have enough batter to make a well formed waffle. But you do. .. The measuring cup included with this iron, when filled up, made the iron overflow both times I tried it. (A little of the overflow goes into the edge of the drip catcher, most of it goes on the counter - it figures: the drip catcher extends only a very small amount past the edge of the iron assembly above it, the batter is thick, and so ...) I ended up using somewhere around 3/4 (or a smidge north of that) to make the waffles. It took some adjusting to - the iron did not look adequately filled. But those waffles came out very nicely. It's Messy. See the overflow issue mentioned above. Also, I oiled the plates a bit before my first waffle (just the first - out of eight or so). And the little bit of residual oil also seeped out and ran around the iron during flipping - and this is after I used a paper towel to absorb any bits of excess. So, it's messy. But these are waffles. Waffles are a bit messy to make, in my experience. (If you want something tidy (but bland), pop a frozen waffle into the toaster.) So the messy bit is a neutral point, to me. Just don't think that that little drip catcher is going to save you much by way of clean up. So, somewhat mixed bag on first outing. I really hope this thing holds up. If it does, I'm happy and this is a big improvement, overall, relative to my old waffle iron. Fingers crossed.

Easy to Use, Quality product
The price was better than most retailers and the quality is very good. Made great waffles on both irons and easy to use.

Excelente waflera

Not really non-stick AND messier than ever despite the addition of a small plate! Need a LOT of oil or spray to make the waffle somewhat retrievable in one piece! Clean up is OILY! Disappointed!! Given the price, expected way more. It's no better than the same model we have owned for a number of years. We end up making small waffles on our little DASH single waffle maker - quick, non-stick and perfect results!
