Use this not acetone!
I DIY gel nails at home and I really think this is way better than acetone. Doesn't completely dry out your fingers, and it smells better. It's supposed to be better for your nails too! Here is a tip when removing your gel color , use a nail file to remove the top shine coat of the polish. This will help the remover cut through the gel quicker. You can file off as much as you want , just be careful once you see your nail. Then either soak, use foil, or nail wraps for around 10 min. Everything can be scrapped off at this point. Do not worry if some of your color or base coat is left on, gently buff it off with a nail file. The next step is why I do not go to a nail salon, you can rough up your nail , even leaving some of he previous base coat on without damaging your nails! Just use a nail file and be gentle! If you do go to a salon never let them use a dremel tool!!! This will absolutely destroy your nails. When I paint foundation gel , I cure it for 5 min. Color coats 3 min each and top coat 7. I would rather sit longer than destroy my nails! Once you are finished , If you have polish on the cuticle and you want it off, use a cuticle trimmer or clippers to cut it, if you try to rip or pull it can rip the gel off your nail. You can give it a day of washing your hands or doing dishes to see if it separates on its own. Hope this helps!

This stuff is fast
This by far beats out any other gel polish remover that I’ve used in the past. I started with the small bottle just to see if it was worth the hype. Well it is and I went back and purchased the larger one. Note to nail tech Ms, just go ahead and buy the bigger one. Shipping takes a little longer with this product so if you get down to about 10 ounces go ahead and reorder. My clients are in and out in no time. I use with an unraveling cotton ball and clips. Very fast.

Only polish remover I use
This is the only nail polish remover I will use since I first tried it around 8 years ago. It's sometimes hard to find though, even on Amazon. I first used it when I had a shellac manicure and did not feel like going in to have it removed. It worked really well! It also works amazing on regular nail polish without drying out my nails. Will keep buying this as long as I can find it.

Great improvement to the CND Shellac process.
I have been doing the CND Shellac process at home for over a year now and have been exceptionally pleased with the results. The one thing I was unhappy with was trying to remove the product with acetone. When I saw CND had come out with their own remover/nourisher especially for CND Shellac nails I ordered right away. At the time of my order I thought the price of $29 was a little expensive but wanted to try it just to see how it worked. It comes in a nice 32 oz bottle with handle and it pours easily into my nail basin where I choose to soak my nails. I have tried all the other methods and found this is the simpliest and quickest for me. It smells a little like acetone but has an added scent and doesn't have such a chemical scent. You still need to make sure you use it in a well ventilated space. Personally, I found the scent to be a little nauseating. The process of removal was much simpler and took less than 10 minutes to soak and remove with an orange stick all the polich. Keep in mind that I have the CND Shellac base coat, two coats of negligee color and a top coat. Since I had had a nail break a few days beforehand, I had topped all that with a coat of regular CND Lacquer and a CND regular top coat! My nails came out spotless and this left a slight sheen to them! The skin around my fingers were not dried out as they usually are when using acetone. I did not have to use any file or buffing tool on my nails to remove the polish. This remover did a great job alone. My only complaint and the reason for one star deduction is that the bottle leaks. When I went to put it away I noticed that some dripped out and upon further inspection found that unless totally upright the bottle will leak. If you squeeze the bottle it will leak as well. Since this is such a costly liquid I would have expected it to reseal much better. So, after the initial opening and breaking the seal I would strongly advise storing it where it is totally upright and cannot fall over and to hold it by the handle and lid when reopening.

Pretty Gentle as far as Shellac Remover goes
I love shellac polish but hate when the ppl at the salon remove it. They ruin your nails with all the scraping and filing. So I decided if I got a shellac manicure I would remove it myself. This remover smells mild and removes the polish without soaking too long and I can push the old polish off with a stick.

Ran out of remover
I ran out of remover for my CND nail polish. For those who use this polish you know how hard it is to get the polish off. This remover works great. I dap some remover on my nail with a cotton ball and leave on a Minute and it comes Right off.

Not for First Time Shellac Removal
Let me preface this review with this was my first time to ever have shellac applied to my nails. So I highly recommend that you see how a professional removes the shellac before you try to do it on your own like I did. So with that being said, it didn't come off as easily as I "thought" it would. The process took me about an hour to remove it. The process involved: first I rubbed it with a Q-Tip as the directions said (don't waste your time doing that!), then I used a cotton ball (helped but still a waste of time),and third I soaked the nail in the removal solution (hard on your finger tips/skin but this actually helped if you leave it in for about 20-30). After it actually loosened it I scraped it off with my finger nails, then rubbed it with a cotton ball w/remover again, scraped again and then used a finger file to remove any excess. I highly recommend that you observe a professional remove the shellac before you attempt it on your own. Once I figured out what worked the second hand went much faster.
