The media could not be loaded. There are so many products out there for drone air drop or drone fishing bait drop. Don’t get me wrong, the description for this one was not that great and the installation was not all that either but it’s sort of common sense installation.Pros: perfect fit for Mavic 2 Pro. Double dropping arms (does not “throw” per description, obviously).To be tested; but being able to drop being same range as remote is phenomenal. This operates by using a light activated sensor on the dropper, which then is connected to the drones front lights.Land gear extensions are a bonus.Cons: cheap, very cheap plastic. Be careful with installation and removing (to replace battery on drone or to transport)Drone arms do not fold in place with dropper attached.Will be testing range and battery life soon.

I really wanted to keep this item but couldn't after using it on my DJI mavic enterprise 2 advanced thermal drone. The first time I tried it out, I had no idea I needed to turn off the landing/ground sensors. I turned the drone on and as soon as it took off it immediately started shooting upwards to avoid the "ground" it was sensing. Thankfully I was able to throw on attitude mode and catch it before it ended up in a tree but it was scary. Would be fun for a cheaper drone but for a $4-5k thermal drone, I probably should've known better to try in the first place. Overall though it worked as stated and was really neat for the few trials after turning off all sensors.

Gave this a shot for my M2ED drone to carry a small sensor for scanning the water. Clipped right on without issue (and the leg extensions were an awesome surprise!). It has two drop bars. We rigged the sensor to the light - I did need to make sure my controller’s buttons were mapped to the nav lights. But it worked well even during the day. Not designed for heavy loads - but then again neither is the drone!

Works as stated. Up and running in 5 min. Dropped a package to my friend 1 mile away...easy peasy

Unfortunately, this device is a dud and does not turn on. The red charging light comes on when the provided USB-C is plugged in, but the green "fully charged" light never turned on, even after several hours of charging (the instructions say it should be fully charged in 1.5 hours). Then when I turned on the device, nothing happened. No lights illuminated as they should and the manual activation button did not activate the release mechanism. This is a great disappointment, as this looks fun and for a reasonable price.

Very soft plastic, after a day of use there are stress marks all over the plastic at critical connection points. Fine for a one-time throw away gimmick, but nothing you could use reliably and repeatedly.
